so a buddy of mine asked for me to start making his juices. i put in all of my orders this morning... but it didnt dawn on me until this afternoon that i would be having to taste the juices and then adding in more flavor and then tasting again etc. anywho... the way i figure it, i can only use a carto, or tank, or whatnot once. and then it would be worthless as it will hold the flavor of what i want to change.

what would be the best way to taste these? i have never diy'd before. so i figure at the get go i will be running through whatever is suggested quite often. then maybe once i get a feel for it i will be able to adjust quicker in order to use less.

should i just buy fifty or more cartos? do they make wadding that i can change out? what do you do?

thank you for your time.

oh. one more thing. how sterile does the room need to be? i have a commercial hepa filter and a few charcoal filters along with 600cfm fans. ozonators etc. do i need to plastic off me half of a bedroom and run filters to keep the dust out? is it that important? i am willing to do whatever has to be done to get this right. but i dont want to go the 'overkill' route either.

thanks for the advice yall. i ended up getting six of the phoenix v4 rdas and ten feet of wire from hoosier vapes. different colors to boot so i dont get mixed up and pretty cheap. the hh.357 was just too high for the number of them i wanted to get. not to mention i see a bunch of peeps around here with bad soldering jobs on those things. i would probably see the same thing if i searched down the phoenix though.

thanks again.

Love the igo-s. THis is a great little rebuildable dripper. Just vape, rinse, dry with paper towel, add another flavor and vape. Takes all of 30 seconds. Has a small lip at the base so it can hold more then your average dripper.

I'm just getting into DIY. I plan on using and Igo-L, since I have it already. I use sterile CVS cotton for wicking. I don't actually put it through the coil, I roll it into a little ball and push it up to the coil and a bit underneath it with something like a toothpick.

Super easy to change out wicks and burn excess juice off the coils between flavors. If any juice has accumulated in the well I'll sometime sop that up with a q-tip.

Nice idea. I use silica wicking and it seems to clean and dry by blotting in paper towel easy enough but I'll have to give that a try.

I'm not ready to get into rebuilding stuff, so I have no dripping atomizer. But I'm a flavor hound and try new ones as often as possible.

I use shorty cartomizers that hold about 15 drops, vaped on a VV eGo. If it's good, I vape it all. If not, I might blow it out a bit and drip in a bit of other flavors to see if I can find a good combo. If it's a total dud, I drop it in the "to clean" pile. Every couple days (or when there are 10+ to clean, whichever comes first) I take the turkey baster and boiling water to clean them. It only takes about 30 seconds per cartomizer. I also use plain air in the baster to blast out the water, then they bake in a warm oven to dry & return to the "clean" bin.

I like using ekowool in my rba's. I'm probably going to use cotton at some point and then i can test with my igo's. Right now I just use bridgeless 510's @ 1.8 ohms. Super easy to rinse, blow out, and switch up. And cheap of course. They last a long time too if you just use them for sampling. Much fuller flavor with an igo though. I've learned that if it tastes "ok to good" in a 510 then it will be very good in a tank and excellent in an igo.

If you don't want to rebuild coils yet, you can try a 510 disposable atty at first to get the hang of dripping and to see the flavor difference. Joyetech makes a decent one. You can go anywhere from $5-$20+ for an atty, depending on what you want to spend. HH357 is top of the line, but the more you pay, the better your vape, usually.

AGREE

And i would not spend $25+ on an HH357 until i knew how to properly care for an atty, learned to clean and maintain, etc.

That said, you do NOT ever want to dry burn an HH357.....well I never did that to any of my atties anyway, and i had a few vapage hybrids that lasted way over 5 months each. :)
