have had the reo now for a week or so. although it is an easy device to run there are some little tricks to get the reo performing the way it should and I do believe I have figured these out. it is now performing better then any device I have ever vaped, period. been vaping a couple years and most of that time was genesis devices. I have done just about every possible set-up with them, with every wick, with every wire, and every resistance. I have had many mods, from caravelas to egos. well this reo absolutely blows the doors off of all that. along with the reo, the rm2 and the micro coils I am in vape heaven. thanks

That is awesome news bro. We figured you would dig it :). The combo really is game changing. Now, you just need to figure out what color your getting next :)

Oh and a pic of your REO and RM2 build would be great too :)

Thanks for the positive update.
I'm in love with mine. It hasn't left my hand since it arrived except to go in my pocket, on the desk or coffee table.
Always near enough for a satisfying vape.

Lol! Yep, I sometimes find my self with a grand in one hand and a mini 2.1 in the other.

Been browsing this Reo forum for a little now, and I am in the same boat as vapdivrr. Great guy for advice too!

I love my RBA's. A simple mesh wick with a 3 wrap of 30g has been my all day setup for over 6 months now. I have been debating about picking up a silica wick system, but after browsing this forum I am really interested in picking up a reo mini and the rm2. My gennies have been spot on and the flavor is outstanding. But the reo seems to be so much easier to use and setup. Decisions decisions.

Rymarski - if you are used to Gennies, get at least a Mini 2.1, or a Grand. The Mini is good for out-and-about, but the 14500s are too anemic to deliver something similar to a 3 wrap x30 gauge coil.
I prefer the VV Grands myself, with >1.2 Ohm coils, but that's me.
Funny thing is my high end mech mods get no use anymore. With all the rave these days on hybrids, mechs, etc. your head just spins. Seems like you cannot keep up with the different setups.

Now micro-coils have gotten popular. See so many posts here and within the RBA forum.

I want something compact (currently use a provari mini with a ZAP) for going out and to work. At home I switch around. But to be honest even though I have become pretty much a pro at recoiling and setting up a proper wick, the juice darkening is driving me crazy. From what I have heard is that these Reo's with a bottom fed atty, such as the RM2, don't darken juice as bad. How compact is this for say going out though? I am interested in the reo mini because of its compact size, but the grand has a nice 6ml juice capacity. Honestly though I probably run through about 3ml of juice a day, so maybe the mini wouldn't be to bad.

Yes, decisions decisions. Like Chris said, a 2.0 or 2.1 is where it's at. They run on 18490 batteries. The original mini doesn't accept as many RBAs.

Coming from mini 2.0, I switched to grands. You'd be surprised how compact all Reos are. The minis are tiny. The grand is not much bigger and all bottomfed attys are designed for it.

I recommend either a grand or mini 2.1 :)

The Grand is a lot smaller than it appears in pics..

This is my Grand, a "regular" size Bic, and my EA MOD in 18500 "mode".

Super x and statistic thanks for all the detailed posts. Been reading some of your material on various sections. Seems like you guys are all rocking mini coils now with a cotton wick.

My mechs are usually running a 500ss mesh setup with a 3 wrap of 28g and my vv devices are running the same mesh but with a 3 wrap of 30g. What is the standard resistance you have on most of your micro coil setups? Sub-ohm vaping can be a little to much for me. The flavor can actually be to clean on a 0.7-0.8 ohm setup for me. From what I understand is that the notes on a cotton wick or silica wick system are more smooth?

I love being able to adjust voltage on the vv throughout the day, but honestly never used a kick in my mechs. Usually with my mechs if I take them out with me they last fairly long, but intensity dies out throughout the day. The reo mini seems so pocket friendly too.

Pocket friendly indeed..

I don't measure resistance on most of the coils I do lately :/.. I just kinda wrap them "to taste" lol. Based on previous measurements though I can pretty safely assume most of mine are in the .7-.8ohm range. I vape Teaberry from MtBaker which is a super clean very subtle flavor to begin with. In these micro coils it's just an incredibly delicious and satisfying vape. You really, truly, should not be comparing a sub ohm 3 wrap of any gauge wire with a cotton stuft micro until you try it for yourself. Wrap one up in a dripper just to see what the fuss is about.. I dare you ;)

edit - you mention voltage drop through the day, and yeah it happens on any mech. I have to say though the micros are much nicer to the battery. I get through an 11hr work day and then some with a single 18650, and I usually swap out at about 3.8-3.75v. Even at the low end they still hit great, just a little slower.
