Sub ohming is just using a coil below 1 ohm. The lower the ohm, the bigger the coil. The bigger the coil, the more vapor and flavor. If you're looking for a better dual coil atomizer, you might benefit more from a better tank.

It all depends on what you want. The coils you're using now aren't that great but anything in that level will be about the same. The aspire nautilus mini would be a good step up, but the next step above that would be sub ohming. With your battery you could use whatever you want. The Nautilus mini will be a lot better than what you have now though. It probably has the same airflow as your current tank has.

Subohm tanks are generally meant for inhaling straight into your lungs, and the Nautilus mini is meant more for inhaling into your louth then your lungs.

It's all preference really.

OK I don't think sub ohm is for me but I also don't like the sound mini in my tank as I prefer a large tank because I was using a smaller tank and was refilling it 3-4 times a day. would you have any other suggestion for a better suited tank for me?

I have a KangerTech Aerotank Mega. I have been buying the upgraded duel burners from kangerTech.
I have been having problems with the wicks coming out. Does anyone know of any better brands or other style double burners I could use with my tank? Any help is appreciated thanks.
One I would also personally look at besides the natillus is the Eleaf GS air M and the GS air MS. They've got a pretty big fan following here nd they're nice tanks for cheap at about ~10 bucks for the tank and the 5 pack of coils run about the about the same price.

do tell.... how does lowering your ohms make the coil bigger??? when I do less wraps ( smaller coil) the ohms drop...

It does not directly. You are right that using less wraps will lead to lower resistance.
Usually for lower ohm setups thicker wire is used to handle the higher amps, because thin wire would burn at the same wattage and same resistance.
And with thick wire it is not possible to use as much wraps as with thinner wire due to space limitations. Thus again leading to lower resistance.

But to lower the resistance with thicker wire is not always leading to the desired goal. It will take thicker wire longer to heat up (either leading to slower vape or the needs of higher watts / current) and longer to cool down.

Take a look at a protank coil at 2.4 ohm, and compare it to an Arctic tank 0.5. Thicker gauge wire is bigger than thinner gauge wire.
well thats a given... thicker wire is always thicker than thinner wire :)
and if one uses thicker wire to achieve a specific ohm rating as compared to a thinner wire, one will use more thick wire length wise than the thinner stuff.... but if one uses the same size wire all the time, than making a bigger coil just increases the ohms..

Yeah that's true but sub ohm pre made coils aren't made with the same gauge coil as 2.4 ohm coils, they're made with bigger coils. You could potentially do one wrap of 28g and subohm but it's not going to achieve much lol

I was just trying to simplify the explanation to a novice is all. We can go into ohms law and gauge thickness and whatnot but it's not going to really explain anything to someone who just wants a better vape that's why I recommended tanks with pre-built coils, just to simplify the info.
