As of last week, pre-filled 8 mg Cowboy carts are not the same as the the true Cowboy flavor of 11 mg, 18 mg, and 24 mg carts. The 5 ml bottles of low (8mg) juice is true Cowboy.

The 8 mg carts tastes like someone spilled some menthol in them. I employ Mark to check these out for himself. Both me and a friend ordered these last week and agree they are not true Cowboys that we know and love.

I would hate for a new V4L customer to think Cowboy tastes this bad.

I still love ya V4L.

Ditto. I received six 5-packs, 3 packs had the slight menthol taste. Since they were replacements for another order, I've been rinsing and refilling them.

I believe they also tasted very close to the "wrong" Parliament carts that were shipping recently. I didn't have any left for a direct compare, but if memory serves me they were the same or very close.

I have kind of been feeling the same about most of the carts I have received in the past month. The menthol carts i got are not the menthol carts of old. They have no TH and no bite. I ordered the 36mg carts but there is no way that is what these are. Even had 1 pack of the menthol carts that tasted like cloves. Im not sure its a fixable issue as i think the manufacturer will not throw away any juice. If they have an order for 5000 carts and there is still juice left over i think they just fill them in with whatever the next order is. Im sure there rationale is its only 200 carts out of an 20000 cart order. No big deal.

There is no way leaford can monitor all of this stuff. Its to big and you have to have some trust in this process anyway. Its not a real big deal to me as i have tons of juice that i can "fix" my carts with but if i was on a budget and needed my go to carts and flavors I can see getting really upset.

Maybe we should slow down a bit on all the changes? I'm not trying to be negative, and I understand V4L is growing by leaps & bounds, but there seems to be a rash of problems lately.

I understand mistakes happen, and I have yet to experience any real problems (other than possible Mt Do gone wrong), but I'm worried that if the % of flavor problems continue to rise, it'll scare away new customers.

I have an idea, send me one cart/bottle of every new shipment and I'll test them free of charge. I'll take one of the team.

Sorry, guys. As some have noted I have been very busy on this order. We are trying to get over 400,000 carts and 120,000 bottles, plus over 30,000 batteries and passthroughs finished before everyone closes on the 10th!

WOrse, we're using multiple factories, so there's a LOT for me to cover, and I really haven't had much time to check the forums.

Nonetheless, I am at least spot checking everything, and am trying my damdest to not only still personally test every strength of every flavor, but to pull out one pack of every strength of every flavor so I can pull them off the shelf and check them in cases like this.

In this case, I am vaping an 8mg Cowboy cart right here right now, and I don't taste even a tiny hint of menthol.

I'm not a tobacco flavor fan, so I can't really judge whether it's the "old" cowboy, but Mark is a Cowboy lover (wait, that sounds wrong), and he loved it. And I compared it to a real marlboro cigarette, and it seemed the same. I also yesterday pulled a bottle of the Cowboy juice from the bottle production line, which should be shipping soon, and will fill a cart with it today to check that the juice is the same as the carts. :thumb:

My friends tell me the same thing.... that you are an irrepressible smart ... :D

Edit: Uhh... Leaford, you weren't supposed to post a split second before I replied to Taryn.

Do what I always do when that happens; go back to the post you were replying to, hit quote, copy the quote and header, and then hit back. THen edit your reply and paste in the quoted message. ;)

Are some or all of the flavors going to be recreated from scratch at some point? I'm thinking I saw in a recent thread (maybe the 'Perfume - Rose' or a Parlament one) that this would need to be done if V4L begins obtaining liquid directly rather than via a hardware supplier, since apparently there would be no way for the liquid manufacturer to know which recipes had been used for V4L previously via the hardware supplier? Or something to that effect, kinda sorta?

In this case they are talking about the previous shipment of Cowboy carts. We have not shipped any of the latest batch that just came in.
