I understand spam control, but the idea of every thread having to be approved before posted leads me to believe that only the shiny happy threads get posted and the ones about the people who scalped their children for breathing too loud when they were having a nic fit don't make it.

Throw this at the wall and see if it sticks has a whole new meaning when someone is wiping off what they don't like.

They only moderated my first two posts. I was able to post freely after that. My second post was the long e-cig post so it's not that they are against e-cigs as a forum.. just the people.

Woah greenlover.. Paranoid a little? Phoenix is not endorsing any brand of e-cig and there are tons of different e-cig manufacturers out there. Thats the beauty of e-cigs, you are not tied to one company selling one brand at outrageous costs. You have many choices and all are way cheaper than pharmaceutical quitting aids. Phoenix was just trying to share his success in a quitting smoking forum and also supplying info and sources to back up his argument. You are a very unpleasant person and I hope your views do not represent this entire website when you say, "lots of luck getting any kind of acceptance here-most here see the E cig as what it is a cigerette".

I hope there are members on this website that are more open minded and kinder than you. Just because an e-cig looks like a cigarette doesn't make it a cigarette. Water guns look like guns but they don't kill people. Unless you have actual sources and facts to support your counter arguments, then you really have nothing to say.

First, I don't even know why you would go on there and basically break the rules of what we are about.. Promoting E-Cigs as a cessation product... #2 they are right.. You are still a slave to nicotine... It's not harmless.. Your assertion that heart attacks can't be caused by e-cigs is unproven and most likely not true. Nicotine does damage the heart.. That is a proven fact (just as caffeine does)...

If you want to vape for life, feel free.. But going onto a site filled with people, that frankly, I envy (due to the fact they've done what I couldn't do), and try to argue with them is ludacris..

BTW.. I love my e-cig... But 2 sayings ring in my head right now...

To me those ppl mainly are coming off as a Elitist .....,With the attitude I quit Smoking all together and i am better than you.And i hate anyone who has that state of mind.I can understand ppl using Ecigs to quit smoking as you can ween your self off and still not have the withdraw symptoms.But for me I use the Ecig as a healthier solution to smoking.I may be the only one but i found Comfort and Enjoyment from smoking. the hand to mouth,inhaling exhaling, but also hated the The major toxins it was putting in my body.So i choose Ecigs as a healthier way to fulfill my desire.

But then they would say oo nicotine is a drug stimulant ,Well that may be the case but you could also classify Caffeine,alcohol ,sugar by those standards.When actually they have been studies to show nicotine has Medicinal purpose in some cases.So in other words those ppl are .......s

These guys in the ex smoker forum are probably not your run of the mill ex smokers. These are the ones who are so "hardcore" ex smoker that they join a forum to talk about it.

You know who is the most critical of illegal immigrants? Legal immigrants. And, in my opinion, justifiably so - one party went through great pains to achieve a goal, and the other took the shortest, easiest route and got essentially the same results.

I think the anti-vape ex-smokers have the same view for the same reasons. They suffered through cold turkey withdrawals or the loss of all joy from a prescription program, whereas we just threw some money at a different solution and (for most) breezed through the process of saying goodbye to analogs.

Whatever. It's all good.

i think everyone is entitled to their opinion i just disagree with the way they are stating it.Just seems holyier than thou to me.So let them be nic Free and smoke Free i will give congrats for being smoke free to them.But on that note i am going to vape me some 24mg at 5 volt now as i enjoy nic and vaping.
