I just want to pass this along to any would be Vivi Nova buyers including vendors. This may be known by some, but not by all, as I and others where deceived by these recently. The vivi on the left as you can see on the box is a true "Vision" Vivi Nova. The Vivi on the right is the knockoff I recently bought. Different top caps and coil heads, being called the same version 2.5. They do not work nearly as well as the "Visions" and are in the trash. I challenge everyone to spread the word on this if your a fan of the Vision Vivi Novas to your favorite vendor and friends. Hopefully there will be protections put in place for all of us to prevent us wasting our money soon. Lesson learned: know what your buying :D

I just ran into this last week. It depends on the vendor you are buying your supplies from. I bought one from Altsmoke that came in a altsmoke box but is compatible with my real vivi. I bought another mini from a vendor that shall remain nameless and the head is not even either of the two in your picture, the bottom metal base is also not one solid piece and leaks, live and learn I guess.

One last thing I forgot to mention. Some websites will have their own supplier name or initials in front of the vivi nova description of the item. Sometimes this is an indication its not a true vision product. But again, i think it depends on the supplier you are buying from.

I bought them at a vape meet in person. The vendor wasn't aware as they bought them for the meet per requests last minute and don't sell them on their websight. I saw the boxes and just assumed they where the same ones I had purchased in the past. While researching this issue I noticed that the authentic ones are advertised as authentic, the knockoffs are not advertised as knockoffs. A new vapor or even well informed experienced vapor could easily be fooled by these. Also when it come to buying replacement coils, owning two different tanks that require two different heads is a problem. Bottom line is that these knockoffs where designed to fool, and fool they did. They don't work half as well for me, the air flow is very very tight, and on my provari there is no airflow at all.

Thanks for this info. I assumed all brands were the same. I want to buy a nova, advised that it would be better than my dc cartomizers. Is this correct? I have a lavatube and it should be compatible, I hope. Being new how many should I buy or should I just buy the heads/wicks?

I always just buy one to see if I like then go from there. The real Vivi's should work fine on your Lavatube, and they usually come with 3 coil heads in 3 different resistances. (1.8,2.4,and 2.8) So right off the bat you'll have 3 replacement heads. I love them, some people hate them. Everything vaping comes down to personal preference, so all I can say is try them.

Hey Gthompson;

FYI your link isn't working. At least not for me. Hope you can fix it. Would like to check it out. Thanks

I don't know, it works for me. Plug this into your browser (remove the space after http) and see what happens.

I have a knockoff Mini Nova I bought from Discount Vapers, knowing it was a knockoff(he VERY clearly states this) because he only had the legit Vision's in full size and I wanted the mini. The stock heads are absolutely terrible, they taste burnt and are just crap, crap, crap. But I bought them to built my own heads out of cotton anyways which ended up working pretty well when I tried it, but now I kind of want to buy a legit full sized Vivi Nova to give them a serious shot. I hope it doesn't get that burned taste/no vapor production(I mean really, hardly ANY at all) I got with the knockoffs.

Buy a few. Having different heads is good but dumping all your juice back into the bottle and changing or cleaning the heads can get tedious if you have just one. Also, Gotvapes.com sells authentic ones for a pretty decent price (12.95) I believe. And they sell the mini vivi novas for like 10 bucks. They are the only vendor I buy my vivis from as their prices are better than any others I have seen for authentic ones.

Edit: It already comes with 3 heads btw, in 3 different resistances. Either way, I would advise having a few on hand. I currently have 5 or 6 lol.
