Are they worth all the hype? I'm asking in here as a comparison to the BMF, the main goal I want is sometimes when eating a big hearty meal I'll vape a BMF and wont get the same satisfaction as an analog gave. Now I know its all mental but was just wondering if a mod would help my urge if so any recommendations? I like the look and style of the GLV.

yes I have the passthru, the trifecta and both the 78 and 65mm batts. I saw some videos of people using mods like the GLV and Silver bullet with huge clouds of vapor. I wonder if its the TH I'm needing for the satisfaction. its been almost 2 months since i had an analog and only miss them after eating a large meal.

It's more about the wattage than just having a big battery mod; the two you mentioned come in 3.7v and 5v/6v versions. At 3.7 volts, a Bloog carto is about the same on those mods as it is on a BMF battery.

At 5 or 6 volts, my guess is that a Bloog carto would burn out pretty quick or, at least, taste like it had. I haven't tried it, and I'm not gonna - you go first!

My understanding is that the "sweet spot" for most juices is between 6 and 8 watts (a matter of taste, of course); a Bloog carto on a 5v device would be about 10 watts and on a 6v device about 14.5 watts. For comparison, it's a little over 5 watts on a BMF battery.

Ideally, Bloog would offer low resistance cartos in the 1.8-2.0 Ohm range (I believe this possibility has been discussed) and that might give you better TH and a warmer vapor. Of course, it'll also burn through juice and batteries faster and not everything tastes better with more heat.

I can tell you from my Prodigy V3.1 (6 volts) that there is one heckuva TH and huge billowing clouds of vapor every time, with every juice I've used. But there are some things to consider. I run BE112 SR atty's with it and don't bother much with carto's. It's a dripping machine. You burn through a lot of juice at 6 volts though. The thing I like best about it though is that it really works well with the high VG juices. They seem to clog the heck out of the carto's and it's hard to get them to soak in and therefore get much into the carto's.

I'm convinced that if you're using anything more than a 60/40 pg to vg juice, you just have to drip a HV atty to do it justice. I'm going to try a bloog for my out and about pv though. The mods are just too big and conspicuous to tote around everywhere and forget about stealth vaping. The vapor is just unreal and very noticeable. Even if you hold it in as long as you can, it still comes boiling out when you exhale.

Highly recommend the HV mod for that "quality, quiet time at home on the couch" though. Like I said, especially if you vape a lot of the high VG blends and/or like a lot of vapor and TH.

Most people seem to either love it or hate with both the PG and the VG. I seem to be in the minority, in that I like them both. Just lucky I guess, because a lot of the gourmet flavors seem to be VG heavy and most of the hearty TH monsters seem to be PG heavy. I've found several of each that I really like. Pure Smoker has some solid PG heavy juices too, if you're into them. Alien Visions and KickBassVapor have some really good tasting VG heavy flavors. That Boba's Bounty from AV really messes with me though. Every time I vape it, I get something a little different from it. Even from a clean atty, so it can't be holdover from another juice. Weird juice that BB, but I really like it.
