And I use the 300g switches from madvapes, but you can use just about any switch with the dna.

I didn't use it on the recessed mod but high desert vapes has some great 510 connectors that I would highly recommend

How happy are you with 300g vs. 200g switches? I just ordered some 200g ones from Arrow.

I haven't used the 200g actuators, got a bunch of the 300g's a while ago.

I think they could be a bit more comfortable. The surface area of these switches is pretty small, so the increased resistance could make it harder to push them comfortably if the user has sensetive fingers. I don't have a problem with the 300g personally but might try the 200's next go-round

... I tested that board with an efest 18650(~50 cycles) and that old Li-Po pack(~100 cycles) and the efest read weak battery @15 watts and up but the lipo fired no problem up to 20 watts, that's just my experience.

The Efest 2000s just aren't very good cells for a truly high drain application.

These Samsungs can handle almost everything you can throw at them and the price is right.

And they can pretty much do 2000mAh at a 20A continuous load. They are NCA, Lithium Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide batteries.

You'll often find Samsung batteries in high end cordless tools, somewhere you'll never see Efest or Panasonic being used.

In other news I followed Baps advice and tried the resin with glass.

and it turned out great. I left the glass adhered to a thin layer of resin to insulate it from the aluminum, and it is crystal clear.

Yeah, I go through a very time consuming process that wouldnt take nearly as long if I had the right tools

I tap a bunch of small holes for the general shape, run my dremel laterally to connect the holes and spend a while with mini files to finish the shape

It's that last filing and sanding that really makes it work, and truly a nice fiber optic effect.

Right on stubb! I'm a firm believer that evolv puts out some of the best hardware. Have a kick and the 20d but haven't gotten a 12, might get one on my next modding binge

im gunna order a dna20 next and attempt a small 9volt box with a lipo. the dna12 was pretty easy to setup. i put this one together in about an hr start to finish.. kinda rushed it but works pretty damn good. what epoxy did you use to make the cover for the screen?

The screen on my recessed box is flawed and I'm gonna redo it, but the other screen with a glass backer turned out flawless.

The resin does bond to glass really well so if you don't want to keep it as part of the window you might have to get a seperating agent

Time to rebuild! Cleaned some stuff up and replaced the DNA board. Going to replace the window with a glass backer.

Got the window in turned out perfectly clear with the glass backer.

This has been an awesome mod, but I've found that I require a bit more power than the 18650 can provide and the 22mm tank restriction doesn't suit my current atomizer selection, so a fortunate buddy of mine who is new to vaping got claim this as his first mod. Back to the drawing board

Very cool mod! Where did you get the 510 connector and piece of glass? I have not seen that style in my searches

The 510 was handmade by another member and pretty hard to come by. For standard 510 connectors i would recommend http:// http://highdesertvapes.com/products/510-Battery-Connector-%28Sealed%29.html they are the best quality I've found.

I got the glass from Lowes, I just asked them for a scrap piece and cut it to shape
