RDA Big dripper clone?

Got mine off of ebay from planetofthevapesllc for $27.25. First time I wicked it up it kept leaking all over me. Came back and watched Rip Tripper's video on it and did a rebuild. No more leaks and vapes like a champ. Ended up with a .6 ohm two coil build. Flavor is warm and rich. Matched it up with Nemisis clone. I'm chasin' clouds now. :)

Anyone having problems with juice leaking from the seam right above the deck when pushing the drip tip down? I think it works great, except for the fact that instead of carrying a bottle of juice, now I gotta have a napkins on hand when I push the drip tip down.

Mine has been leaking from the seam when I push the button. I've been pretty busy, but tonight I'm going to try to replace that o-ring and see how it goes. I got mine from Vaping Walrus.

Man, I swear. Some guy works on a new design and it hardly gets out the door and already its cloned. I was surprised to see the big dripper even existed because I had the same damn Idea and was about to call a friend who owns a machine shop. I'm a mechanical designer and was ready to dive into a similar device but different mechanism for dripping. Glad I didn't waste my time and money like this poor guy. Hope he at least got something out of it.

I got mine from the local B&M and they didn't know who made the clone. The seams were a little off cause when you screwed it down, the reflection from the light wouldn't make a straight line going up (hard to explain) so I replaced the o-ring and used some dental floss and it worked great for the first fill. Then I refilled it and it started leaking again. So frustrating. Anyways, I took it back and replaced it with a castle rda. Lol. Great design but I might wait and get a better clone (HCigar Infinite Tobecco).

Don't worry. He didn't risk that much money because it was made in small batches making it hard to get making it easier to clone IMHO. If you have a better idea start a presale and make a batch. Is it more like zero gravity dripper? Anyone with a v1 or v2 do you get the crud from using ejuice that grim mentions?

Mine's been leaking for sure, don't know where from though. Originally I thought juice was coming out of the juice hole and leaking on to the deck, but if what you say is correct then that could also be a reason.

Pics? This sounds promising.

Adds about 1/8 inch more capacity

My clone (Fasttech version 2) is different than the original. The roof of the chamber (or floor of the tank) is angled (triangular) where the original is mostly flat. I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes, but my clone needs a ton of power to perform well.

I kind of wish I could combine the Pontus with this thing. The Pontus is so much easier to fill, the pump seems more reliable, and I really like seeing how much juice is in the tank (you can't open the tank on the Big Dripper to check how much juice is in the tank before you head out because it can spill). Also, the glass tank helps you gauge how much juice dripped out.

I just got my Big Dripper v1 over the weekend. I am loving it so far, but has anyone confirmed this about the clear v2 top cap. If we can use a glass tank on this bad boy then it will be magical.

I replaced the original o-ring at the tank section with a spare o-ring from my CLT box. It's working much better now. No more leaks at the seam. Looks like it just came with a bad o-ring.

I don't fill mine's to 5ml. It's just too messy and a pain in a$s. I usually fill it using a flat table with the plunger flush with the top of the atty. makes it about 3ml, I guess. This set up definitely wouldn't last me an entire day, but makes a long drive quite nicer.

So far, my BD is handling my 0.3 ohm set up like a champ. The flavor is pretty good. After I fixed the leaky seam issue , this seems like an atty that I'll use on a regular basis.
