Hi jnslprd,

I have a Silver Bullet, a Vamo and a few others that I will use out in public, at work etc. The way I look at it is, the more people we can educate on the use of e-cigs and personnal vaporizers the better. I am glad to finally start seeing more adverts on TV also. Some people get pretty interested in it and so I give them all the info I can to help get them going. I have a few converts under my wings so it is worth the effort I think.

vape away!! :toast:

Due to the scrutiny of e-cigs and PVs, ECF has placed a restriction on references to drugs, etc. in the forum rules. You may want to edit your OP to remove those terms. Just a friendly suggestion.

As for using larger PVs in public, I think that by using an apparatus that gives a totally different look than a cigarette decreases anyone's argument that "you're smoking". It's easier to explain. I use mine everywhere, but refrain from displaying large plumes by exhaling through my nose, down my chest. Vaped through The Hobbit at an afternoon matinee, yesterday.

I personally don't think my eGo ce4 is "big", besides; its so well made that I can proudly put it on a table at the pub. dare I say I flaunt it. However i am ordering a smaller device for when discretion is important or something just more convenient. That eGo doesn't exactly fit in pockets.... unless you really really want it to.

Hello, new to the forums and to ecigs. Just got 2 VOLT setups for my wife and I.
Heres my question

Do you guys use your large vaporizers in public? In the car, at work.

They just seem to look like bongs or pot pipes

Thanks, Joe
Finally, some is not afraid to mention this issue on ECF.
Dude, the intervention by the police, on my gear, don't need that. STEALTH VAPE!

Yes I do. I've used mods the size of a BB, Silver Bullet, Provari, and V.V. Griper. I've been vaping for 10 months. I reached the point where I don't care if people see what I'm using. Who cares what anybody thinks? What are they going to do? I've used these in front of security guards and police officers at outdoor concerts and professional sporting events. They don't even blink. And Cincinnati is one of the strictest, most conservative cities in the States.

I vape at work and bring my VAMO/Provari with a vivi nova everywhere with me, car, walking in public. I wont vape anywhere where there are kids or if I feel I would offend anyone. The only person who has said anything was a little girl walking with her mother down the street who saw me vape and said eww lol.

I will be forever grateful for how easy vaping made it for me to quite my 2+ pack a day habit so I would very much like to make the path to vaping as easy to follow as possible for smokers. I only use cig-alikes in public because I don't want people's first impression of vaping to be associated with substances they find even more offensive than cigarettes.

I have recently switched from cig-alikes similar to yours for the Joye eRoll for out and about. I couldn't be more delighted. The eRoll is dead simple to use, the vape is great and the PCC case gets around the incessant cig-alike charging hassles. I'm actually am so pleased with the eRoll's performance that I often use it home in favor of my Twists and VAMOs when I just want to sit down for a few minutes and use something small, light and simple.

When out and about I don't miss my Twists and VAMOs at all so using something in public that is nearly guaranteed to give some people a horrible first impression of vaping is completely off the table for me. Also, the eRoll is quite stylish which makes it attractive enough to be a good ambassador for vaping.
