I really like my 808's and especially my pass through, but I'm ready to get something with a little more staying power. Ideally, I'd like to get through most if not all of the day on 1 battery.
As I understand it, there are basically 3 808-compatible bigger batteries; the iGo, the Elegant Easy, and the PigCig. Is that right? Are they all pretty similar or does one have a decided advantage?
It looks like the iGo is only available as part of a starter kit and as such will cost $70. I can get into either of the othe 2 for under $40 although admittedly with only one battery. I also see that the Pigcig comes in either a 900mah or 650mah version. So far, what I've seen are user reviews on these by people who bought one or the other and seem to like it. Has anyone independently tried all 3? Also, is there any chance ANY of these would work with the several 808 chargers I now possess?
At this point I'm leaning to one of the cheaper options unless there's a definitive advantage for one over the other.
FWIW, I've now been vaping a little over 2 months so I'm a relative newbee. I do think I've more or less got the hang of it (no analogs at all) and I'd like to reduce or eliminate the constant battery shuffle neccesary to get through the day so any firsthand advice is much appreciated.
P.S. I'll throw out my thoughts on the many different 808 cartomizers I've tried. So far they include: LiteCig regular and premium, V4L premium, Nhaler, Madvapes Clearomizers and lastly, Volt. Best I can tell, the Volt, Nhaler and "regular" LiteCig's are basically the same thing (Kangers?). They come in the bubble packaging, have no wire through the tube and as such I assume are horizontal coil. The premiums from LiteCig and and V4L come individually wrapped and are apparently vertical coil. They work OK but, do snap and crackle alot which I suspect is hammering my battery. Also, the V4L's (Boge's?) apprear to be all over the board in terms of quality. In some, the inner tube and fill comes up litterally just over half way up the carto thus limiting the amount of juice one can apply. As to the clearomizers, I like them alot in terms of vapor production, etc. I've been careful so I haven't cracked any tubes yet. The main problem with them in my mind are that they are a hassle to fill/re-fill since you have to use the little syringe tip as opposed to just dripping in some juice to top them off, etc. They are also more difficult to clean as I've tried once and am not sure it worked at all.
