Any one having a problem using the Billow on a Eleaf? Pin in or out, just get a "Atomizer Short" message. Works fine on the Provari and cheapo mech, Eleaf, not so much. Won't show ohms either. Runs the Kayfun fine.

Did you build it above 1.0ohm? The istick can't fire below that.

I'd like to report some issues that I've found with this RTA, although I still love it:

1) If it is left at any sort of an angle other than completely vertical for any extended period (1 hour+), it will leak. It's happened twice now (I have an Orchid and know how to wick these tanks, I've even plugged the channels completely and it still occurs). I just came back to the entire 4.5mL in a pool in my vape bag. Grrrr...

2) When filling, I love the filing hole system but it should not be located so close to the juice channels. When the pressure begins building from filling, without fail, a waterfall of juice comes shooting out of the drip tip. I can't get this tank more than ¾ full because any further than that and it will come pouring out, even with the channels completely plugged with wick.

Other than those two things, I have it build at 0.4Ω at 22.5W on my DNA30 and the vape is absolutely incredible.

Agree. Just took it for a short drive and it became a mess of leaking juice. Going to treat like a RDA. And it's staying home.
Truck smells good though..

Yes it has AFC. If you look closely you will see the two air control screws on the bottom.

oh .... son, I didn't know there were two afc's. When I first read that for .2 seconds I was like, "... that's so stup....oh .... that means you can run single coils as well when you want to !!!" Theyve really thought this through. I'm just wondering now, how the flavor will compare to,a lemo drop since it looks like a tall beast...

And you need to adjust the airflow on the fly because? I personally don't want my airflow to change after I get it the way I want it, the reason manufacturers are building screw's into their AFC devices

If done correctly that shouldn't be a concern, like on the squape reloaded. Just utilize a ball bearing and voila

I've been using 30 gauge nickel twisted with 30 gauge kanthal on my Erlprinz. Temp control works fine with that, and the kanthal adds enough stability that it's easier to work with. I already twisted some more up to use with the Lemo when it arrives tomorrow.

BOOM!
And the DNA 40s temp control still works properly with the twisted kanthal in the mix?

Somewhat still inexperienced at this. Got mine today. Built with 28g 7ohm on 5/64. Only dual I can compare it to is a fogger 4.4
hands down it outperforms the fogger on first tank. Vaping at 30W on a sigelei 30 and I think I could go much higher.
Rayon wick 75% VG

EDIT: My wife just gave me a piece of her mind for fogging up the basement.
im assuming you meant to write .7 ohms because if it actually is 7 ohms I'd like to know what kinds of lex Luther type modifications you had to inflict upon your sigelei to be able to handle that kind of outrageous resistance...lol

Yea I have other atties where I have to be careful how much I tighten the deck screws, or will cut the wire, but nothing as bad as the billow, couldn't put any pressure on the wire or would cut it, if had come with spare screws, then would of swapped them out. Got a 4 day weekend coming, so going to see if can blunt them a bit, but wasn't hard just catching the wire under the screw heads though.
Have you tried sanding down the bottoms of your screws. When I've had attys that suffer from this ailment I've always busted out the nail file and have had pretty good results with that method. Still gets me how companies can let things as basic as that get past QC. Since I like to make sure I've got a really solid connection, especially since most Philips head screws have an irritating Propensity for backing themselves off, I'm a rampant over-tightener. Because of this neuroses, I don't know if I could live with a device that was consistently clipping my leads, unless there was a simple fix for it. Anyone else find their device suffered from the same issue?

I dont have the billow dew to people talking about it leaking. Although i have a Lemo, SQr, eXpromizer, KF and a TY.
The Lemo is right up there with the the best of them. I dont not feel the need for a Billow.
But how can you know until you at least try vaping one? Also, how does the flavor and vapor production on the lemo compare to the orchid v2 or later? Thanks =]

Roxy, I posted a pic of my wicking a few pages back.

Edit:

Why are you running the tails of your wicks into the channels? I thought you're just supposed to put them right above where the channels meet the deck...? Keep hearing conflicting, albeit always vehement and assuring, reports on this matter. And that applies to any rta like this, like the orchid, fogger, billow, etc
