I ordered this tank December 8th when they were back in stock. If the teflon tape works to solve leaking im wondering if the blue locktite will also. Dont have mine yet but I will try it once I recieve it.
epoxy and loctite? gross. just stick with the plumbers tape. $2 at any hardware store.
It doesn't work still leaks

I think I would go for silicone, or something of that nature, that could be peeled off rather than loctite and epoxy to close out the AFC holes. Since silicone is fluid proof and heat resistant.
Oh well, to the Billow. My DNA 40 boards are arriving sometime this week so that is something at least. I get to see if I can wreck a PCB since I did not manage to wreck the OKR T10. The wiring may be spaghetti, but she VAPES! Until then I guess I will just have to do classwork. I am such a ..... for going back to college after 15 years.
Why would you want that
Also I used plumbers tape and still a good amount of condensation on the deck... Less than before tho... I'll probably just plug up the holes permanently with epoxy

hold it at 45deg angle and rotate the fill hole to 6 o'clock not 12.I made up my own wicking style for both this and the Orchid. I'll share one as soon as I rewick. I just filled them both again.
I'm having trouble filling the Billow. First time, no problem. Second time, a bit problematic. Just now, made quite a mess, and had some flooding with dripping out the top. How many are top filling this? I'm about to from now on.
Just got my Billow today and its very impressive! Airflow is the best (most airy with AFC opened all the way) of all factory RTA's including Orchid 1&4, Fogger 4.1, and Lemo. Vapes awesome and no leaks during my first 3 hours anyway. Lots of vapor, great flavor. I sanded the screw bottoms to avoid that issue. Filling needs improvement but works. My only real complaint is the whistling noise it makes. Not the worst I've heard but still noticeable to me but I'm picky about that. With AFC all the way open it whistles a bit and generally a little on the loud side. Overall this thing is nice and first impression is very good!! Prob will be my fav now but time will tell if it beats out the drilled Orchid v4.

I got mine in today (Bought on BF). I did a build with twisted 32g at 1ohm. The flavor in this thing is really good. I normally vape a kayfun lite+ at ~15w which has amazing flavor but the Billow is not to far behind. It kills the Lemo and FoggerV4 in the flavor departments and smokes the Fogger in vapor. I took it to 27.5w and the wicking kept up just fine. I like a cooler vape so I dropped to 21.1w and I can chain vape without dry hits. I had the screw cutting the wire issue so I stuck them between tweezers and sanded them a bit and works fine now. I loaded it up with Boba's juice wise.
Going to lay it on its side tonight to see if I get leaking.
So far I am very happy with this purchase seems like its time to sale the Lemo and get a few bucks back on it.
Tried with no help. My leaking comes out the airflow holes. It even leaks a bit standing up but laying down just slowly drains out.
You're not worried about melting your insulators at that low of a resistance?24ga, .25ohm. Hits like it has an attitude problem, lol.

IIRC, I think it took about a week to get my WH. May be a bit longer now after the awesome sale they ran. Had I not over spent on Black Friday I would have ordered a second Workhorse. If you intend to run a fairly low ohm build, I'd recommend getting the HD switch spring from Super-T. Since you order hasn't shipped I'd call them up and get them to add one to your order.
Because when the screw presses the wire down inside the post its less likely to cut it if there is room for it to bend down at less then a 90 degree angle. it pushes it down more so than slicing it tight against the post like a scissor. ya know how a loose scissor wont cut as well as a tight one?![]()
I wasn't meaning it like that, I meant like if it's flat wouldn't it be easier to trap your wire. Like couldnt it slip out if it's rounded and you trapped it on the precipice of where the rounding begins?More surface area than the wire itself won't give you a better connection unless you're doing a parallel wrap where your wires aren't tight (which you shouldn't do)
hold it at 45deg angle and rotate the fill hole to 6 o'clock not 12.
This should stop all fill problems. It is important to have the fill hole at 6 o'clock based on my experience with it. Otherwise it seems to get a vapor lock and force juice into the juice channels and out your drip tip.

Guess I'll find out the next time I re-wick it. But, no, I'm not terribly concerned. I rotate through multiple mods during the day so it's not exactly being hit with prolonged chain vaping.
I'm surprised it whistles since the airholes, at least the internal ones, aren't perfect circles, but rather egg shaped with some flattened sides. Maybe they didn't do the same for the exterior airflow holes...anyways, the best solution to kill any whistle IMO is going to be just adding a slight bevel itg to the exterior airflow holes
No, you aren't! Good for you on going back to school. If you need math help, let me know.
I had a student in his 70s once. Wanted to keep his mind active.
