Billow v2 no barrel?

Ive been seeing some people on reddit who have been removing the barrel that goes over the coils and still being able to use it without leaking. Im wondering if this is actually possible. I feel like there lying and just wanting people to loose all there liquid. Trolls? Or has anyone tried this before successfully

I saw a review on YouTube where the guy didn't have the sheath over the coils and had no idea there was supposed to be one. I never tried mine without it, but considering there's an oring at the top of it, I consider it an important piece. I would give it a go but I sold my Billow v2. You could always try it out and see for yourself.

Yep been using mine just fine with no barrel. it does make it a bit tricker to install tho, as it's possible to mess up the cotton during install and removal to fill or replace coils/cotton.

how's the vape quality without the barrel?

You get a bit more airflow than before, but do notice a slight bit more pop-back. You can stuff bigger builds in there with the bit of room you now have also. Overall works great, just make sure you have good cotton placement.

will it leaked if u were to tilt it sideway?

I did have one leak when I tried it, but it was because I didn't cotton the hole well. As long as you know how to do it properly, won't leak at all.
