Hi everyone.
Not really expert. Here's a question. I recently switched to rta and got the billow v2. Build 30g 2.5mm 11 wraps nickel, my ipvd2 reads 0.1 . As i fire longer than 3 seconds, i can feel my vape is getting weaker. Why is this so?

My guess would be wicking. As you fire you're drying out the wick and for some reason the way you have it wicked isn't wicking juice fast enough to keep up. Can't think of anything else off hand. How tight is your cotton in the coil? Drippers seem to do better with tight wicks but tanks seem to do better with a wick that's just a tiny bit snug, not tight at all.

1 more question. Right now. 10 wraps 0.09 reading. But why is it 1 side of my coil is gunked. What is wrong?

Are the coils heating evenly? You might have uneven heating where one coil heats up faster than the other and gets gunked. One of the wraps on one of the coils might be shorted to its neighbor.

I've seen guys use uneven coils intentionally to get more vapor from one coil and more steamy / flavorful vape from the other. How was it vaping?

I'm using nickel. Is it possible to see if its heating equally? I try to make the dual coil resistance the same by getting the first resistance. Then putting in my 2nd coil and get the figure which should match the first resistance /2

That would do it.

I'm not going to say dry heat the coils until they glow a dull red to check for even heating because the NiO police will flame me.
