You really can't beat on-line pricing. Even with shipping costs, what you spend on gas isn't really worth it.
My B&M sells it for $1 per foot, I pay it cuz I try to help support small business.
If I had the money I would open a shop up here or the next big type city. I got the time, just no money. we need a shop that is not a smoke shop with over price junk. 68 miles away. I use to have to buy 6 cartons of analogs each month during my all the Dr's appointment the same day to save gas. glad I am over that expense.
I forgot that about a month ago a new vape shop opened about 10 minutes from my house. I stopped in - their prices were outrageous and they wanted $10 for a 10 ml bottle of juice. I think I tried every one of about the 30 juices they had - they were all awful.
I'm all for supporting small business and don't mind paying a BIT more, but I don't want to be taken advantage of either.
I have tests I use for b&m s. The first one is do I hear the words blank mls equal a pack of cigarettes. If I hear that I will walk right out

I agree with you. A small mark up yes but double, forget it. Shopping online alot has taught me the real prices or so the retail ones and looking at the Chinese site you get an even better look at prices. If there were a simi local B&M shop close and they had a normal mark up I would be there in a heartbeat.
I have no issues supporting small businesses, however i find it insane to have a 1000% markup on items; or charging $2/ml of juice, $80 for a MVP, $120 for VTR, $180 for the 183, $10 for a drip tip that came from fasttech for $1 and some change... i mean really whats with that? there can't possibly be THAT much overhead. And the really screwy part is... they're ALWAYS PACKED!
So far I have blacklisted 3 chains in the area for it. I. Won't deal with them unless it's an absolute emergency. Which only happened once in almost 3 years

Maybe some people just don't know any better or don't realize how huge the on-line market is. They hear about e-cigs, see a store near them and go not knowing. Or they just don't want to wait for something. If I was new at this and went into a shop, I would assume the people there know what they're talking about and their prices were probably the norm.
Plus, a lot of people forget the overhead on retail rental space and insurance. I was looking at a small 900sqft space with my father-in-law. It was $3000 a month. (WIthout insurance) That is a lot of MVPs and $9.99 clearomizers.
Agreed. Just being able to hold something in your hands, or smell the scent of a liquid.... would be great
