The Virginia that I started out with, from MyFreedomSmokes, someone described in a review as tasting "like cat pee." I really wanted to know how she knew what cat pee tastes like?

Yea, I always wondered how people knew what their pet food tasted like. Did it really taste like sirloin or salmon?

When a cat pees on an electric stove top... The next time that element is heated...

Everyone in the house tastes it.

Not the best surprise with your morning oatmeal.

This makes me SOOOOOO glad that my cat is confined to the floor or the soft furniture. If she ever tries the kitchen table or anything else in the kitchen, she gets so much screaming-at, she runs and hides! :D And we don't leave her in, when we're gone, or sleeping; she's really an outdoor kitty who lives in the garage, who gained house privileges once she matured enough to comport herself with some dignity -- she turned 3 this year. :) She may acquire house privileges for night-time this winter, if my husband has anything to say about it. :D

We found out because of a rather well behaved cat, funny enough. We're pretty sure she had a bad case of kitty dementia by that time. IIRC, she was upwards of 16 years young by the time that happened. She had a few week Stent there where for some odd reason she was obsessed with the stove top. At that point in her life allowing her to be an outside kitty would have meant certain death one way or another. She actually was an outside cat some 10 (+/-) years prior.

Her name was me - me (spelled mime) because her black and white pattern was just so that it was reminiscent of a mime.

I really do miss that cat.

Ah, yes... Poo-Pouri:

not sure about spraying the cat's box, though... removal sounds like the first seasonable step since you'll have to do it at some point anyways.

That's just weird. I think I posted this viedo on another thread last night but hadn't seen this one. Great minds think alike.

Ours is perpetually formalwear-clad, with one white 'sock'. :D When she first showed up on our carport, scraggly starving squeaking 3 mo old kitten, I didn't know she was a she, and called her "Tux." When my husband ascertained her gender, we had to change that to 'Tuxie.' Of course now I have to take a Zyrtec everyday, so thank god for 24 hr antihistamines, because she was determined to join our family. :D

Allergies; kitty lovers curse

No kidding! I've been horribly allergic to cats my whole life; it's the detergent in their saliva, with which they lick themselves all over -- some soaps give me hives! But with 24 hr antihistamines that aren't expensive (I get a generic zyrtec from the dollar store!), having a cat becomes possible! :) :) :)

Can that be used to counter the "news" we have been reading lately ? :)
