Hey Folks,

Bri the new guy here. Just getting into rba's. Got a AGA-T2, built a good 4-5 wrap coil, 2.4 ohms with all coils lighting nicely, no hot-spots. BUT...I noticed a black crusty substance forming along each coilwrap. I've only got it going today....first few vapes were pretty good. Now, less vape and TOO STRONG throat-hit. Running at 3.7-4 volts, juice is 80VG/20PG blend. Any help appreciated!

Thanks,

Bri the VapeGuy.

If you're using a dark juice or a high VG juice they will gunk up the coil pretty fast. If the mesh is loose enough to take out of the coil then you could dry burn. If not, try removing all the juice and then do a dry burn. Otherwise it's looking like you'll have to make a new coil. I'm no expert though so maybe somebody else will have a better idea.
