I have 2 batterys. The SMOK and the Provari. I am trying to find the right tank/clearomizer for a while now.

I originally started out with an EGO-C with the tiny atomizers in it. The atomizers got dirty fast and I did not like dealing with taking them apart and cleaning them. at $5 a pop they were also kind of expensive from what I have seen out there. I did try these on the top of my big batteries and as long as I used the high resistance atomizer I really liked the hit. The amount of air that came with a drag was pretty good. The problem was if I hit it a few times in a row POP the atomizer burnt out.

I then proceeded to try

CE4 Vision (hit decent but fell apart real easy. If you picked it up from the tank it would come apart and spill juice everywhere)
ViVi Nova V3 (Worked good but seemed to get a lot of air with each hit. Was functional but was not exactly what I liked)
INNOKIN I Clear Dual Coil (similar to the CE4. Also both this and the CE4 could not be hit often or they got a burnt taste)
Kanger Bottom Coil (seemed to want to flood out after using it for only a few days. Lots of gurgling too needed to take it apart and clean to get working again)

My latest is the new 3.5ML Vision STV ViVi Nova. I went with this because my V3 worked and did not taste burnt ever. Yes it drew a lot moire air with each hit than I wanted but I assumed this may be why it never tasted burnt. I bought 2 different colors of these.

So now not only do these draw more air like the V3 but they get the bunt taste as well. If I hit this more than once in a short period of time mega burnt flavor.

What are my options here? What else should I try? I am a burst smoker. I will hit it a few times in a row and then sit it down for a while. None of this is meeting what I want yet.

I basically felt the same about the CE4 type clearos and the Kanger T3 bottom coil. I'm using a few things right now and one is the ViVi Nova. I bring that up because if I set the voltage to where I thought it should go, mine taste burnt too, but if I lower the voltage to 3.5 on a 2 ohm ViVi, it surprisingly is pretty good. So first, I'd say try lowering your voltage. As for other options, I'm digging the U-DCT and the Kanger M3. Even though the M3 is only 1ml, my God does it hit and taste nice. I have a Spitfire I haven't tried yet - just bought it. Here are some pics for comparison....

Maybe I'm old fashioned. I've tried the Stardust, Vivi Nova and a couple others but I keep coming back to my Boge LR XL cartos. I put a couple of big gashes in them at the bottom and use them in my Smoketech tanks. The way they use up juice they don't flood. After quite awhile, when they either start to taste funky or the draw gets too tight I swap them out. At $7.49 a 5-pack they're hardly expensive to throw away.
Just try some Boge LR cartos and see what you think. I you may find yourself dripping in them a lot if you don't put them in a tank, though. I find their performance (flavor, warmth, volume of vapor) much better than anything else I've tried. You may find them a bit airy at first if you like a tight draw. Good luck.

How much are u willing to spend? That's the real question here. There are some really nice tanks out there put they are gonna cost some coin.

I bought a really expensive rebuildable one and we have yet to be able to make the wick right. FInally just gave up. The restatnce is always too low when we are done. With as much money as I have saved on not smoking in well over a year cost is not a big deal.

Is there a place that sells both of these that will work together and do not need modding or drilling?

phiniac doesn't sell cartos but they sell carto punches (easy to use just watch their video) and tank refilling tools. tons of places to find cartos i'd recommend experimenting with different ones like boge smoktech and whatever else you can find

also they have skinny tanks now that look amazing on a provari
