If your careful not to extend the wire to far out of the end and break it yes you can.
Ut OH! Who snuck in there and bought 2 more? Were they purple? I am waiting to get my purple one to see how much I like the purple. I can't decide between purple and peach! I better make my mind up before the purple is gone for good! decisions, decisions.
is it better to buy two different endcaps(510 and 901)
or buy one and get an adapter for the other?
I mainly use a 510, but have a bunch of 808 cartos that I could use

I have found that I need an adapter with most 901s to use my 808 cartos. Those slots are needed for air flow. If it were me, I would get the 510 connection since that is what you normally use and then get a 510-808 adapter for the occasional use of the 808s. The adapters are fairly cheap. just my opinion though.

808's need the slots , we sell the 808 WITH an O-Ring so when you use a 901 style you use the o-ring to close the slots for proper airflow for a 901
you can also use adapters with it as well !
"Are we there yet" as in, is it shipped yet. But no matter, I have been buggy in emails and now I will be sitting back and being patient (or at least trying to!)

I have the end caps and the adapters and it's allot easier to use the adapters. I use 3 or 4 different cartos on mine and it doesn't take me any longer to use the adapters than it does without.
Same here. I use 510s and 808s. I ordered my Buzz fitted 510 and bought an 808 extra but honestly I just use an adapter too.
No problem! Glad that I could help you. Just wouldn't be worth changing the end caps for the occassional 808 use to me.
The Buzz was not originally designed to constantly change the top cap , I had so many requests to change it to another style that I decided to sell then separately . Any time you expose electronics you run a higher risk of failure .
Also the wire was not really designed to be handled like that all the time , we have had quite a few break from changing top caps .

I have a "shipped"!!!!! Weeeeeeeeee!!!! I though USPS had tracking? Probably not a good idea or I'll be refreshing that site non stop! Woohoo....all excited now 
DO not count on USPOS tracking , it sucks !! they usually take 2-4 days BUT do not count on it !!!
Oh I know, I've ordered enough to know to ignore it...I just can't help myself to check in case it actually DOES update once in a while...
