Yea but it was like black juice.... kinda worried me.. not sure I want to vape this juice anymore...

Not a burnt carto, I never let em go dry

You should definitely be worried. You can keep them topped off as much as possible but, the carto can still be burnt. This has happened with a few of my cartos. I don't advise you to vape it anymore neither.

If you want a concrete answer. Then all you need to do is dissect it and see it for yourself. That's what I do to all of mine. There's no other explanation since DK RY4 is a fairly clear juice and for it to darken that much in a couple of days. Is nearly impossible unless you vape 10ml a day or something.

i mean is the vapor im inhaling black then?

Not at all, it's still going to be white vapor regardless. If your inhaling vapor from a burnt carto then your inhaling actual smoke. Which is coming from burnt cotten and polyfill. That is definitely nothing you want to inhale when your vaping.

That's one of the reasons I started using clear cartomizers like the Diamond carto from GotVapes - so I could see inside the carto and always know if the juice was getting icky. Then discovered CE2's and fell in vape love. To me the CE2 type or versions based on the same technology is the best of all vaping worlds.

Hits like a 306 dripping atty (tons of flavor and vapor), you can see the juice always through clear tube, no filler material to absorb and thus waste some of your juice, no airy hits from filler material, no poly fill to burn, juice goes right to the coil, coil does get caramelized sugars on it but it's easy to burn off the coil and reuse like new.

If your still using regular cartos and you haven't tried a CE2 type yet, I encourage you to try one.

You won't taste the burning of the carto wadding if the flavor of your juice masks it. I've had that happen. I bet the indoor air quality most of us breathe is worse than a little(and it is very little) burnt up carto innards. I have a bunch of Boge left mostly because I want to try LR on my Ego batteries. But, it's really had to try them when my CE3's are fantastic. But, even the wicking in them can get a bit toasted.

I've had ry4 and dk tab in it...

There is sugar in e liquid?

So if I rip this carto apart you're saying the filler will be black if I indeed did burn the carto?

And explain ce2 and no filler? How's that possible without a tank set up?

I would open it and see what is going on. Also I know there is a thread about burning cartomizers here. I wonder if anyone sent a burnt carto to a lab to see how dangerous it is
