Bloog and Volt really better?

I just recently ordered some "sealed" volt autos and have been very happy with them. I have not noticed any issues with the draw. On the contrary, since I am using low resistance cartos (similar to the ones sold by Bloog), the draw is actually much easier than the old Kangers I had been using. I think people wrote off the cigarette style PVs far too soon. Seems like there are quite a few people putting down their huge heavy mods and picking up Volt and Bloog nowadays.

Does anyone have a pic of the entire 'sealed' and a 'unsealed' batt that has been zipped in half?

To me the draw would be the most important aspect followed by battery life, but what do I know, my first PV was a VV china tube and my next purchase is the provari.
I must say, that I am very impressed with the wifes V4L Titan e-cig and I find myself trying it several times/day with the same results. I ordered her some extra batts & chargers and threw 2 stealths in the cart for myself for 'throw in the shirt pocket and go'.

aside from being a little big, my manual stealth is my favorite battery. Do have to be especially careful about not putting on an old carto if freshly charged though-- stealths have a higher wattage.

V2 and V4L cool carts are both too high for me on anything but a passthrough (low vapor production, tight draw, and with refills vapor production gets dramatically worse). V4L wowcarts have great vapor production but burn or just die too quickly, especially on my stealth or passthrough. Volt/Smokeless image cartos are a my perfect goldilocks solution But they're just as good on all my batteries, not just the Volt.

You're able to use these on your V4L gear without scorching juice? I can't seem to do that with my Halos or generic kangers.

As I understand it Volt cartos run slighter higher ohms than the others, so maybe thats why

So I put my Volts away and rock the Ego. That was like 5 months ago, then out of the blue I decided to order some blank volt carto's this week. When they got here I threw my all day vape in them and DAMN! it was good! Vapor, taste and TH! I was going the mini 501 route when I was out and about but I could never find a good carto that could give me a good TH on those mini 501's to save my life (believe me I tried ALOT of different carto's!). So long story short, I dont know who makes the Volt's carto's, but I am surely satisfied with them and will be giving the 501's to my girlfriend as she loves them and I'm back to rocking my VOLT!

The reviews I've seen on the Volt have been impressive. I've tried a Bloog and was far from blown away by it. I have a Volt kit on order to try. It'll be here on Tuesday probably.

If it lives up to the hype, I'll let you know.

Just so you know. I've been vaping for almost 3 years and moved away from the cigarette style models a long time ago because they just didn't keep up with my habit. I'm up to much larger models now and have been for awhile, but now and then I just want something small to take out with me.

I'm hoping the Volt performs as described. I'll let you know.

Sorry, there were a few threads where people were waiting for my review. I thought I'd hit them all, but I must have missed this one.

To answer your question... yes. I was really impressed by the performance of the Volt. Even with the prefilled carts that I can't rave about, the vapor production was really good. When I refilled one with my own liquid, it was even better.

The draw is stiffer than what I'm used to on my VV, but not so much that it was difficult to use in any way. I've been using the volt off and on since I got it and I'm finding it very satisfying.

My son's friend is looking into ecigs and I took over a bunch of things for him to try including my VV. I gave him the Volt to try last as he seemed to feel awkward with my larger setups. He was blown away by it and immediately asked me where he could get one.

Anyhow, I'm rambling. I would say that the Volt does live up to the hype. I've seen it posted that the Bloog and the Volt are the same thing and maybe I just got a dud when I tried the Bloog, but from my experience, the Volt was better.

I'm just so frustrated since I started having problems with the 306. It was the only thing I used for about 6 months. Then, I started having problems with any 306 atty I ordered, no matter who I ordered from. As a matter of fact, I just got all my 306 atties together to give to my brother. It's the end of an era, kinda sad.

But, I am getting aquainted with lots of new stuff instead now. I've tried the 801, 901, and 808D. I've even gone back to sometimes use my Ego tank and 510 atties. The generic 808D I tried had a very tight draw.

But, nothing makes my Caramel Macchiato taste as good as my 306 did! I know I'll probably have to go back and order the 306 again to give it one more shot. But, I just can't take the frustration anymore right now.

So, for now, I guess I'll go ahead and try the Volt.

This is getting very expensive! I should open up a store!

I feel your pain. I went through about 10 different setups before I found a sweet spot. I still experiment when something new comes out just to give it a try as they are always improving things, but for the past year I've just ordered liquid now and then and new cartos every few months.

It will level out and you'll see the savings before too long.

I have a few slim autobatts from various sources and have found that the unsealed ones do not have the machined slot on the center connector, but do allow some air to be drawn thru the battery body to contribute to the draw ... not sure if I like inhaling air thats been sucked thru the battery chamber ... but guess I'm still here right? The sealed batts have a slot machined into the battery connector which combined with the matching slot in the carto creates the air entry point into the carto ... so the air flow from the outside would seem to be governed by those 4 tiny holes in the threaded barrel of the battery connector. I'm fine with the draw on all my batts, but wondering if making some or all of those holes bigger would increase airflow.

I have batteries from both places. The EV ones don't seam to work as well as the volts, they start out alright but get really weak an hour into vaping. I haven't tried the sealed autos from EV, there may be a difference.
The 78's (volts) last me around 3 1/2 hours the 65's around 2 hours.

oops my bad...I thought you were referring to Elite Vapor Works that has an 808 similar to Volt. Some times I forget that there's an Elite 808.
I have never tried the Elite 808 so please disregard that part.

I use V2. I've tried the volts, and V2's are better all the way around imo (battery life, easy draw, horizontal coil cartomizers). V2 has upgraded most of their products btw. So if you've tried them in the past, and were disappointed... they are much better now.

The batteries are double the price, but for some reason they feel more powerful. As if they had a higher volt output or something, but I don't think they do. Their cartomizers, on the other hand, are pretty well priced for kanger horizontal coils. The blanks are rated around 2.6 ohm (+/- 0.1) I believe. I've tried them on the volt, and they worked just fine.

Just for the record: I do not recommend V4L for anything after trying their cartomizers (both resistance options) and juice. They were so bad I wouldn't even think of buying a battery from them...
