just got my second volt kit today .. =) now to place my cdnvapor order for some more players juice

Me too!

It was the starter kit I won in their contest! I looooove that the VOLT auto batteries have a long cut-off. It's at least 7 secs on all three. Making great indoor fog as I type.

I seriously just ordered a kit from smokeless image WTF. I could have avoided cross border shipping hassles and had it quicker. Not to mention I paid 25 bucks for shipping. Maybe I'll buy a kit from this Canadian vendor just so I don't have to wait as long.

Ps. I just noticed my ecf veteran status. This means I'm gonna be a total ...... to noobs now.

Ya might wanna view this first.

Ok I watched the entire video done by SteelJan, geat lady, and did my own test with my XL PCC and a 78mm 320 mAh Smokeless Image Volt battery. I took the back off my PCC to verify with SteelJan's video that I had the same internal PCC hardware - it was.

The 320 mAh volt batt took 4 hours to have the red light go out in the PCC, then taken off and put on a USB charger to computer port the end light came on showing a need for more charging, but it was out in less than 5 min. The PCC did charge the Volt batt at least 95%-99% somewhere in that range.

For my practial use, charging time of 4 hours via the XL PCC is not an issue as my other 320 mAh volt will last 5 - 6 hours generally and sometimes more.

For other research I've done on lithium batteries it generally is better for battery life and charge retaining to charge slow. Charging lithium batteris fast isn't optimal and can shorten their life. The impression I have is that the slower you can charge them the better.

So this PCC actually will be good for my volt batteries and do near full charges and also safegaurd their lifespan.

I guess you weren't really listening at the beginning. Even the Bloog PCC only charges 2 batteries from dead and they take 2 hrs each = total fail for an out and about device. Sorry!

ETA: She has the konwledge and degrees to back up her findings, do you?

Regardless of anyone's knowledge certs, the PCC works fine for me so what do you suggest I do? Throw it away?

No you are most welcome to keep it. OTOH I only offered anecdotal evidence that the Mega PCC "as is" is flawed and totally useless for a heavy vaper. She didn't discredit the PCC only that it is not for everyone and definitely not for someone who vapes more than 1ml a day.

My post was intended as community awareness nothing else :) Folks are always free to buy and vape whatever they like. :)

Yes there is a supplier I know of that carry's the volt, and he won't sell me the mega charging case. He said there are bugs in it, the video just proved to me that this supplier was being very honest with me and not wanting me to waste my money.

To duplicate Steeljan's testing, I confirmed I had the same PCC (backing removed with battery numbers matching and circuitry visually the same) and, although I don't have the measureing equipment, the outputs can still be compared. She is saying that there needs to be 30-45 minutes additional charging with a USB cable on computer port after 4 hours of charging time in the PCC.

She used volt batteries, 65mm and 78mm, I have 78m volt batteries. I can charge 3 of these 78 mm volt batteries, that do take 4 hours and a bit to charge in the PCC and this is the same time as Steeljan's findings, but then the batteries do not need more charging with the USB cable.

The issue of not being able to fully charge the volt 65mm and 78mm batteries which she says needed an added 30-45 min charging after being taken out of the PCC is why she says it is a fail.
It was a statment made and not actually demonstrated in the video.

I am a moderate to heavy vaper, using 2ml - 3ml juice a day, I go out for with the XL PCC with 2 78mm batteries (both charged) and in 6 hours I charge one and 6 hours later I charge a second battery. After another 6 hours (18 hours away from home) I could still charge a third time. The volt being vaped while the other charges definitely lasts beyond the 4 hour 15 charge time. The PCC does work.

I can't be the only person buying this PCC that somehow got a (opposite of a lemon) super copy of the hardware. Maybe others who have bought this charger should post their charge times and what extra charging had to be done with the USB cable after the red light went off on the PCC.

I also want to add to community awareness switched. I totally enjoy Steeljan and the really good info that she shares, but for this PCC and trying to replicate her findings I'm not getting it.
