OK, there's been lots of talk lately about Bloog and Smokeless Image on various aspects of both companies and their products. All of it's probably quite valid, even though everyone seems to agree that the hardware is pretty much the same except for branding. So, folks will land on one side of that fence or the other... or perhaps in someone else's yard when they come out with exactly the same hardware and maybe a better price/service/etc.

So what I want to get down to, the REAL question for me right now, is this:

Which one has the hottest vaping models on their web site?

At Bloog Planet I'm kind of digging the chick with the satin dress, and the one in the vapor-filled club ain't bad either. But, neither is really an "it" girl, IMO. For the "like my guys hunky" crowd, there's even a couple of hunky guys at the bar that might do the trick for you.

Over at Smokeless Image, the model-type in front of the stairs is definitely sexing it up but a little "plastic" for my taste. The B&W emo chick... me likey! Hipster-chick-on-a-couch is working it, too. The elder-statesman type guy? Seems a bit too targeted at the senior crowd. Strategically speaking I think they're really missing out on the "like my guys hunky" demographic. ...

So, what say you?

Bloog? Sounds like something you blow from your nose. And "Smokeless Image?" Please! Could we get just a *little* more pretentious?

I was thinking "Bloog" sound more like something you'd see on Futurama, but I see where you're coming from.

As for SI... blame it on the hipster chick?

I say that mostly I couldn't care less how how the chicks or the guys either are, i would appreciate better and more descriptive information about the actual products themselves more. That being said, the pics at Bloog look poorly photoshopped and the dissolving flash animation makes me feel like I'm having a seizure. Maybe they've fixed that, I stopped looking at their site when I saw their shipping charges.

Point well taken.

There is some history regarding Bloog... but I don't know anything about smokeless image, other than that they were sold out of some cartos I wanted the first time I tried to shop their site. It's tough to get accurate information about much of the hardware made in China. For instance, are the Bloog batteries genuine Kanger KR808D-1, or a knockoff made by another company?

Look, Vapor4Life, V2Cigs, Bloog, Vapor Kings and several other brands are out there, but they're all essentially the same KR808D-1 batteries, at least in terms of design and specs. I know that, but what I don't know is a.) who manufactures the cartos b.) if there are differences between cartos in terms of quality and c.) where the best overall deal is.

Just my two puffs worth. Oh, and BTW regarding the photos....truthfully, I don't see them. Makes no difference to me; I am immune to visual seduction. (google translation of my -Spanish- screen name, "ciego")

I think the pics are annoing... especially since they slide in and out... makes me seasick... and none of them win IMO

Ok maybe the black n white ones.... theyre a bit artsy, but the rest look like a cheap ad.
The one on the couch? Come on... Give me Pink, in all her glory, doing somfin crazy. That could work on me.. otherwise, no..

I had some cartos in my cart at Bloog but backed out when I saw their shipping charge. I can't see paying $8.00 for what should cost about a dollar to ship.

I want to clarify that if you use their Coupon Code, it takes off about $3 from the total, which brings the shipping down to a reasonable level. I do wish the retailers would simply make their shipping costs reasonable instead of making us search all day for those Coupon Codes. But having to use a CC was sure better than nothing.

It's hard to pull up Bloog's site in any stealthy way at work. Both sites don't offer that much variety or change—once you've seen them twice, no reason to go back.

Here's a question: Why are so many e-cig sites BLACK? Shows smoke better?

I like the product info on goodprophets. Best site redesign award goes to Vaperite.

This is exactly what I want to know too. I want to see the specs on these from the manufacturer. Bloog claims they don't use Kanger for bats or cartomizers, yet I see no other manufacturer that I've managed to find that makes a regulated battery for 3.7v On the other hand Kanger doesn't either to my knowledge.

The other thing that's irritating me right now is Bloog, SI, and Smoov claim their battery is a 5v Lipo regulated to 3.7 volts, yet in other threads here on ECF I've seen people say it's impossible for that kind of battery to be a 5v. I don't know much about batteries myself, so I can't say personally, but if that's true... either the company is misrepresenting their products, or their manufacturer is.

I've actually contacted Kanger and Shining. I know V4L gets their bats from Shining, but neither of them know anything about regulated 3.7 volt bats. So again, the question is, who the hell makes them? Are they really 5v? Or is that a load of crap? Do they really stay at 3.7 from start to finish? If you go by steeljan's vid reviews, She tests a SI Volt battery and it's actually ABOVE 3.7 volts. I don't know what to believe anymore.
