About the link you posted on the Bloog sub forum, someone had posted that a few months ago only then the battery did have "Bloog" written on it, and not just the reflection. (I'm guessing they were made to remove it)
Any way, got me thinking that maybe its more of a case of the manufacturer not telling the truth then the vendor.

Interesting. I'm surprised Leaford did not mention that when I posted it. He implied that it was something new.

I fail to see why the manufacturer would lie to a vendor and tell them they are getting a Bloog battery and then not deliver that. It would only hurt the manufacturer once people started finding out, as the vendor wouldn't order anymore from them, or they'd send all the old ones back.

If the manufacturer that makes Bloog is selling to other vendors, which we know they are... I see no reason why they wouldn't continue to sell the same battery to new vendors, now that Bloog does not have exclusive rights to it.

One vendor in particular even stated that he was in China about a week ago now, and that he watched them put Volt logos on some of their batteries. So this guy really is claiming they are the same, yet his don't perform the same. The problem I have with his claim is that according to Leaford, the manufacturer uses ANOTHER company to do the printing and painting/colors on battery tubes. The manufacturer of the battery doesn't actually do those things themselves, which is why I feel like some of these vendors are full of crap when they say they are coming from the same manufacturer as Bloog.

Why blame the vendor and defend the manufacturer? The exact same goes for them as you stated defending the makers!

I fail to see why the manufacturer would lie to a vendor and tell them they are getting a Bloog battery and then not deliver that. It would only hurt the manufacturer once people started finding out, as the vendor wouldn't order anymore from them, or they'd send all the old ones back.

Why would they lie??? using your own words....."it would only hurt the" VENDOR "once pople started finding out, as the" CUSTOMERS "wouldn't order anymore from them"........... It's all moot really, if you don't want to use that vendor, don't order from them.....it seems to me that you have taken on this personal crusade to intentionally harm other vendors.....

Now back to the topic that Vapian started......

I, my dear Vapian, don't care for any of the "models".... They are definitely not appealing to the female gender....bring on the sexy bad boys:laugh:

<sigh....> I think someone missed the point that this thread was supposed to lighten the mood. There are already other threads for technical stuff.

Getting back on topic, I do see the appeal of Hipster Chick On A Couch, but for some reason I'm still liking Black & White Emo Chick ... seriously doubt she'd be into me, though. Seems moody.

Rawrscary sir you are once again getting opinion and fact mixed up. You also aren't taking into account the fact these batteries suffer from the same issue every electronic device does, there is a accepted degree of fault tolerance built into every one..... I could go on forever on this, but we've already been down this road enough times.

People aren't bashing you, same can't be said on your end. Maybe if you tuned the ego down some, relaxed, and actually read instead of reacting in a defensive manner every time someone replies to your post, people could have an actual conversation with you....

Vapian sir, think you're right, the emo chick looks like she's more trouble than she's worth. :)

I swore I wouldn't get sucked into this thread gone wrong but, here I go.

After you cut these batteries up and compare, be prepared to do it again because the next batch could be different. Being made by the same manufacturer doesn't mean from the same plant either. The Chinese can be treacherous traders.

I have a good friend from China (now an American citizen). he tells me things they do in business there that stood my hair on end. They make and fake everything. He will only eat fresh food when he is there. They make fake Eggs in shells, pump water into meat to weigh more, put chemicals in water to make dead fish look alive and sold powdered milk extended with melomine resin. They make fake iPhones and sell them in fake iPhone stores. They sell each other inferior building materials...wait and see how long their skyscrapers last. There's is no regard for patents whatsoever. They think EVERYTHING is about price (wonder where they got that from). A lot of suppliers here know this, watch for it, and take precautions. Some are less sophisticated. I'm sure there are Chinese companies with integrity but that is not the norm. This is why I stay away from their juices.

I don't doubt Steel Jan's conclusion...she just rated and entertained us with her experience. I've had several SI batteries. The shorts worked just like my Bloogs. I had a larger one that became a "weeny Vape" after a week.

What precaution would they possibly take, there's no way to know you're getting the same product every time they order, unless vendors are constantly cutting things open and looking at the internals. Good luck fighting with these guys to get your money back. Asians in general are very penny wise.

This is why there needs to be american manufacturers.
