Maybe for the Marines and it seems they would be more interested in a stealth model as well, but I was in the Military and I still like pretty with lots of bling! It's gotta work and be reliable, but that doesn't mean it has to be ugly!

Stateside you can have your bling as colorful and flashy as you like because we are free and live in America.

But when you are "in country", the PV of choice is flat black or camo coded to your environment, led disabled (don't want charley to see that light). Something rugged that can take a beating (drop in the mud fling it, wipe it, puff it). 3 piece cause it's gonna get broken down and cleaned at the end of the day right after my rifle any way so cartomizers are reserved for R&R. Lots of throat hit but zero vapor (don't want charley to see the smoke either).

e-liquid flavor of choice = napalm for day vape and something sweet for desert (Cant' bring my wife so honey will have to do). Semper Fi.

I started with the blu. I thought when it arrived it was going to be the day I would say good by to analogs. I was wrong. It did however work out to be a good first step into the vaping world. It gave me hope that with more battery life and more vapor I could do this. That's where my Ego came in to save me a month later. Its not easy to make the transition and there are times I really want a analog. When those craving come I cant be bothered with the blu's unreliability.

If it wasnt for this forums honesty I would have never found this super cheap site.http://www.litecigusa.net/ This places prices are so cheap its like the goodwill of ecigs.

That's great that you found a sweet spot with your Ego. After less than one day with the MAGMA I haven't craved an analog at all... so far.

I certainly agree that the Blu was sorely lacking... and I only vaped one cart with it and knew it wouldn't do it for me. The MAGMA will do nicely for now... my first sweet spot... and there will probably be others over the years as I vape.

Good luck....

I first learned of the e-cigs from a friend of mine online. Got to meet him in real life one day and he showed me his blu cigs. I was really drawn in by that prettyness.. the sleek awesome of those things. Came very close to ordering one. But I held off, he was smoking the blu and still smoking analogs and i got a bit concerned over getting an e-cig. I wanted to quit all together. Then I went researching back in april and joined here but still held off and then spent a good solid 3 days researching and reading front to back everything i could find and finally just stuck it to my husband that we were getting a 510. Wish i would of gotten an ego but couldnt afford it. But I'm not backing down from my 510 either. yes.. battery life sucks .... but over all i'm pretty happy with my 510, ei. see my pic LOL. I also will be ordering my mod hopefully soon. Just saving up those pennies XD

My opinion, order another PV now, once u get the blu, send it back and wait for the real PV to show up ^^ My suggestion? get an ego. :)

LOLOL.... I'm ahead of you. Got the Blu yesterday afternoon and it's already re-packaged for returning today for refund... after I vaped only one cart with it.

My Volcano MAGMA... which arrived yesterday morning.... it's a keeper... definitely. Though I'll probably try other brands and models before this year is done.

I kept my Blu to tinker with, although its so unreliable I doubt I'll ever use it. It's not that bad vapor production wise, and its TH is decent because it's atty seems to get hot REALLY fast. Unfortunately its the burnt throat hit not the huge cloud of dense vapor TH that I kind of like.

The one thing that irritates me the most about Blu, is that it is marketed like Tobacco products USED to be. You are "cool" if you vape on this. It is missing the entire point of the product and I feel that marketing like this could in fact cause problems for the entire community.

Volcano seems to be a better company to buy from if you want an all in one branded kit. The magma is a nice setup, if not a bit pricey. I like the PCC from the pictures I've seen and I ordered some of their atty's to try out. I still prefer to support the ECF vendors because they do it right and support their community.

I agree with you on Blu marketing. It's a bit much for the "go greener" crowd of vape-heads. I decided to not keep the Blu. To me it was a bad purchase on my part. But had I found ECF first... I wouldn't have purchased the Blu. Though, the MAGMA... it's definitely a keeper.

Yes, the MAGMA PCC is really nice... in fact it is the nicest one I've seen after checking out many competing models. It'll hold 5 spare carts, two spare batts, and one spare atty (or one atty with a cart attached, which makes six carts it'll hold). And it has the LCD charge indicator on the lower front of the case, and a multi-function bar switch just below the charge LCD. Plus, it has a red LED light on the case bottom that's activated by the bar switch.... making it a red flashlight. A very nice PCC indeed.
