Blu pods not working

This is the 5th time in the last month that my pod won't work right out of the package. I thought it was the device but then I qould open a new pod and insert it and it works fine.. I even switched devices with the bad pod to ensure that was the issue and it is.. Is anyone else experiencing this? It's only with the cool mint pod.

There may be Contacts to bend on the bottom of the pod?
