Blucigs went crazy hot in presence of live music

Cuz I smoke when I drink, at a bar with live music last Saturday after vaping and recharging once and letting it sit in case I noticed the case on the side where it sits got really, really hot. I checked it out and it was so hot I couldn't hold onto it. Let it sit and cool a bit, it worked but battery died. took out spare, hooked 'er up, light goes crazy, but it worked but it in case. Minute later that one did the same thing. My sweety also has one but hers did not go crazy. I kept switching them, charging, etc., and they kept going nuts for hours. Couldn't use em after an hour of this. After leaving the bar, all this craziness with the heat stopped. What's up with that? Oh, yeah, I'm waiting for customer service to respond. Been using this case for almost three months with little or not problem, loving it, refill with Johnson Creek rather than buy cartridges. Hmmm, maybe my batteries are going and need to buy more? Anyone ever have this same problem? Oh, yeah, first week with them I noticed a burning when I put it in my pocket connected. Customer service said motion will set them off, heats vaporizer, etc. When motorcycling I disconnect and that solves that but MUSIC? WTF?

Many auto PVs are sound activated. It's a cheaper way of doing it. Many KR8s are vacuum activated as well as all SmokeStik are vacuum activated.

unfortunately you will not be able to use your blu in presence of loud environment... Like LowThudd said, they are so sensitive, sound sets the battery off. You might want to look into the 510 manual push button battery, or ego battery it will at least work with your blu atomizers/carts, but you will have to buy a separate charger, they are not expensive though. Spend another $15-20, depending on where you find it, for a "going to the bar" e cig. Good luck to ya!

Blue cigs suck in my opinion,get an Ego or a Joye 510 you wont be disapointed.

Sounds like the live muise activated the atuo battery. May condiser unscrewing the carto a little in these situations so if the battery auto switch gets activated it will not do anything since the carto is not in contact with both battery contacts.

After looking around on this site a little and seeing similar responses to sound activation I went to liberty flights and they were out of the Riva 510 so, upon one of their salesmen's advice, went with the Joye e-Go and boy do they go. heh heh Great advice!! Love it. So, now that I get so many inquiries and curious want to try its, I'm gifting my blu cigs with new atomizers to two of my kids. If they like e-cigs I'll switch 'em over to e-gos too.

Blu is a marginal ecig and no point of using it anyhow. So perhaps this was a sign from God to throw the thing in the trash and buy something else....
