I did not invent the idea but I used it for a long time.
Aside from dripping, the blue foam is my favorite, followed by a silver screen
mod, then tea bag, finally fluval. Silver screen has better taste, but the blue foam is easier to make and handle.
When I was using the blue foam, I noticed you had to rinse the crap out of it after washing. I mean really rinse it good. Let it dry and rinse it again. If the foam is not "dunked" into the liquid in the cartridge or rinsed well enough it can taste very bad. Don't try to
vape it if the foam is dry. When the liquid starts to run out you have to refill the cartridge or it will taste bad. Also if it is a new atomizer, it needs to be "blown out" as some manufacturers will ship it with primer liquid in there. You don't want to vape that. Or it simply could be expired liquid tasting bad you think is the blue foam. It will taste bad if it isn't washed and thoroughly rinsed. I would rinse the atomizer with hot water, and then blow it out over a sink. Vape it dry without inhaling and try dripping 2 drops onto the wick and then try the blue foam again. Making sure the foam is rinsed good.
If you finally get it down, it can be reused almost endlessly.
Try alternate liquids also, just in case it is bad liquid.
As with just about everything e-cig related, the blue foam requires trial and error.
