what is blue foam and where do you get it?

Blue foam is a course sponge material used for aquarium filters. The original Blue Foam is made by Marineland, and is available online (Marineland Rite-Size U Bonded Foam Sleeve Aquarium Filter Sleeves), or in pet stores. There are other aquarium foams good for carts too. I personally use AquaClear, which is essentially the same sponge material as BF, but is beige colored. Works great! I got mine from PetCo.
