I had a couple tugs on a work mates vapour "tank" a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it, so proceeded to order one for myself with a 80 vg 20 pg liquid. Until I received my own "vapouriser", I would have the odd pull on my mate's. I then started to develop a blotchy rash, went to the pharmacist and he said it looked like ringworm, then just last week my vision started to go a little blurry and I wasn't sure why. Received my tank and liquid last Friday, put it all together, poured in some liquid and vaped away, but I did have quite a bit blowing huge clouds and loving it. My vision then went even more blurry but I carried on. Woke up Saturday morning and my vision was really blurry looking past a meter, close up its ok, still I vaped until I got really worried. I looked on the net and found that this has happened to other people too. I've stopped since last Saturday but my vision is still really bad and the rash hasn't gone. Going to the doctor Friday. Has anyone experienced this?

Doctor is your best bet, I'd do whatever to get in sooner than Friday. There are several serious medical/health issues with blurred vision & rash as initial symptoms.

Not to sound like an alarmist but you should go to an Emergency Room because you could have a serious medical issue as others have stated. If it is just an allergic reaction that's great but you have too many symptoms that could be other problems and they for sure will have you follow up with your regular doctor or a specialist.

Wish you the best and hoping it is 'nothing" serious. :danger:

Dehydration, dry mouth, frequent urination, rash, blurred vision...

You stopped vaping last Saturday, no improvement from then till now, but, you know vaping caused it,,, seems legit...

Go to the Dr now, like right now, emergency room if you can't get in to see DR today.

Sounds like a coincidence brother.

A couple hits isn't going to cause a lasting rash and loss of vision. Before you had your own set-up you developed this... Then continued and you happened to get your own, and still persists even though you aren't vaping.

Wierd allergic reactions can be caused by the flavorings. But they are more immediate and detoxify in a short time.

I haven't heard a story of a vapor loosing their eye site ever in the 3-4yrs I've been around.

A glass or two more of water than normal will keep you OK in hydration with the higher VG.. If you have a pre-existing condition that dehydration can intensify then dehydration can exasperate that.

I would look at other possible conditions and see if you can align with something else.

You could have Mononucleosis, could be Diabetes, could be a UTI or it could be so many possible causes but you do not want to cause permanent damage to your eyes! Get off the PC and have someone drive you to the Emergency Room or a Walk In Medical Center.

That's another thing, I've been really dehydrated since. Drinking loads of water daily and urinating more than I ever have, dry mouth all day etc... Could it be a case of it affecting individuals differently? I know deep down that vaping is the cause of this.

Dehydration is a well known issue with vaping.

99.9% sure this has nothing to do with vaping.

Get to a doctor. This sounds serious.

You seem to be blaming it on vaping when you could have picked something up from your "mates" or it is just a coincidence that the issue appears after you started vaping. If it was an allergic reaction from something in the E-Liquid you used it probably would have subsided already.

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM before too much time passes! :tumble:
