Boge 510D or CE2

My friend and I are sharing an order from Health Cabin. I want to buy either some clearomisers or cartos. I am on a very limited budget. I have my choice narrowed down to either the Boge or the CE2s.

Right now I am using the KR bottom coils and really like them but a pack is out of my price range. I also have a Vision V3 that is so delicious but it leaks like a bear.

I am not super concerned with how easy it is to fill (see: I started with the KR bottom coils). I am very concerned with leakage.

One thing I love about the KRs is that I can take a few out with me in a Baggie in my purse and switch flavours through the day.

When I'm working I'm not a heavy vaper. Probably around a ml in a day. My ego 650mAh battery will last me a couple of days and my 1100mAh almost 4 days. I'm off work now and probably vaped about 1.5ml and my 1100mAh battery went dead from a fresh charge last night. As I understand it thats still pretty light.

I am looking for something that has some longevity at my rate of use and is portable. I am also concerned with cost as I am on a limited income.

So, which would you chose? Boge 510D or CE2?

My Vote would be the Boge carto, in either 2ohm or 3ohm which ever closely matches what you are used to using with the kanger cartos. Most of the ce2(unless they are the metal ones) are waaaay to easy to snap in half. I was an original ce2 fan but quickly grew tired of breaking them off at the base or cracking them from base to tip. The metal ones are just as durable , in my opinion, as a regular carto but the reculad size ce2 are a bit finicky on occasion. I believe the smart money would be Boge cartos. They dont leak, they have a great lifespan, reliable and effective. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Why not just purchase one clearomizer first before you decide to commit to a large order.

I don't think it's a matter of which is better, just a matter of personal preference. I started with cartos, tried clearos and now back to cartos. With some people it's the reverse.

You seem pretty happy with your current setup. But there's nothing wrong with giving clearos a try. You may love them, but you just never know. I never really had leaking issues with clearos. I just seem to get drawn back to cartos or attys.

The Boge cartos and the CE2s are quite different. You will get a truer eliquid taste, slightly warmer vape, with the CE2 at least in my experience. However, throat hit is important to me so I prefer the cartos in about 2 ohms. But, I have come to prefer the Kanger bottom coil cartos to the Boge. Next week it might be the other way around.

Yes, if you go with cartos, ( which I personally hate), get bottom coil ones. They give a better vape and don't burn as easily. I made a video where i cut one apart, check it out. Though my video shows smokeless image, it is about the difference between bottom coil and regular center coil cartos.

The bottom coil ce3 is no comparison to anything though. It gives intense vapor and doesn't leak a drop

I really enjoyed that video. I watched your one about making a taste dripped out of an old carto the other day. The same friend who is going in on this order with me is going to be making us some.

Sadly bottom coil does not appear to be one of my options this time around. It really is between the CE 2s and the Boge, or knock offs it appears. ... Oh, or some Kanger horizontal coil, just noticed those.

I have never had a ce2 leak, unless I broke it off, or cracked it. If they have the straight clear ce2, those are the ones im talking about that I have actually broken three boxes worth. If they have the opaque ones(they are made from about the same material as a bic pen) those should be the more durable option in ce2. Even better yet would be the ones with a metal sleeve. But I have never had one leak just broke a whole bunch of them.

Thanks for all your responses everyone. I've decided to try the Boge 510 XL.

I thought long and hard about trying the Kanger horizontal coils but all the reviews seem to say they haves funny taste and that early put me off.

Anyway thanks for the responses. I was really shy to post here at first but you all made me feel very welcome. I'll let you know how I like my new cartos when they arrive!

I agree. I am really enjoying the KR bottom coil clearos I got from Health Cabin. They don't leak, I can carry a bunch in my purse and switch out flavours in the day. so far it seems there was only 1 bad one in the 10 I bought. But boy oh boy are they a pain to fill. Ultimately it's worth it because it means they don't leak. I'm finding they're going strong after at least a months use but they're starting to get a little gurgly. And they are not easy (read: I haven't figured out how to do it at all yet) to clean. If/when a V2 of those comes out and I have the $$ I would happily buy them again.

I also have a Vision V3 clearo that produces amazing vapor and is easy as pie to fill but if I put it in my purse it will leak its entire contents all over my bag and sometimes it will leak like a whole .5ml on the floor if I pick it up wrong. To be fair on that one it is getting quite old. The flavour and vape are still great.

I'm hoping the cartos will work out for me for transportability. That is. My major concern. I just signed up for my classes for school in the fall and I won't be spending a lot of time at home, that's for sure!!
