I filed my dispute complaint directly through my financial institutions website (PNC Bank), as my purchase was made on a VISA check card. I submitted it as "items not received"...I described the situation in the comments box as best I could. I was credited the amount pending the result of the investigation. I expect I will receive paperwork in the mail, and will be asked to provide receipt documentation. That has not arrived yet, but I will keep the thread updated.

I also filed a complaint with the BBB. I went to the national site, and put in the city of the business (which is Clovis, New Mexico), then it took me step by step through the complaint process. Below I have provided a link, which should allow you to bypass entering the city, and begin the process immediately.

He is completely out of control...and he's still taking custom orders as far as I know. I would really like to know how many total people are still waiting for mods. If anyone reading this thread knows of someone else waiting who hasn't chimed in, please let us know.

Wow I can't believe all this is happening to so many people. I wish I had known there were going to be so many problems with these mods before I got one on the classifieds. I got a VV Bogger Box and it seemed to be working ok until I realized it was draining the batteries even when it wasn't being used. Seemed like a bad switch to me so rather than try to repair it myself I contacted Marcus and he said to send it in for a repair, I figured it would cost a few bucks but thought it was better to have them fix it so it would be done right. Well that was back in August! The latest response I got from Marcus was about a month ago saying my repair was about done and he would ship it out that week and send me the tracking info.

Well needless to say I never got a tracking # and I have left voice mail and e-mailed and not getting any response.
This thread isn't making me feel any better about getting my mod back. Wish I had just tried repairing it myself now.

He definitely shouldn't be allowed to take new orders if he's not making attempts to fill them.

I hope things work out for all of us involved

I sent an inquiry email via the website yesterday about how long an in-stock mod would take to ship and an automated reply stating that they would be getting back to me is all I got back.

I did it to see what they are telling prospective customers. I'm not in the market for a mod.

Update...received the dispute paperwork from my bank yesterday. I immediately filled it all out and included all the documentation necessary (written timeline, receipt, email correspondences, etc). I will keep the thread updated.

Thank you SO very much for keeping us in the loop.

Thank you for explaining the process and providing the link. That really makes it easier for a lot of people (myself included) to follow through with this. I'll keep this thread informed as well once I fill out my complaint.

Well I have an update to share about my frustrating experience with Bogger Box Mods.

I had a friendly talk with my attorney and had decided to contact the BBB and the Attorney General in New Mexico. After so many failed attempts to get any response from Marcus I had had enough!!! I sent one last email to Marcus letting him know of my intentions and decided to give him a week or so to respond.

After about a week and a half of still no response from him I had letters in hand and copies of emails from early on when I did still have some communication with Marcus when my wife text me at work and said I had a package!? She went on to tell me it was from Bogger Box Mods so I told her to open it and sure enough I finally after 5 months of waiting I had my mod back and it was even repaired as was originally requested!!!!

The thing that still confuses me is there was still never any email or even a note with the mod giving any kind of reason for the delay or an apology. Go figure.....

At least my long wait and lack of communication with them is over!!

I really love their mods and the craftsmanship is great but the lack of customer support is completely incompetent and inexcusable!!

I hope everyone else that has been having issues with them gets their problems figured out. But I definitely would not recommend anyone to make any new purchases with them unless they begin to show some kind of serious changes with customer relations!!!

I never received my "in stock" DNA 20 mod that I ordered from this ...... in October. He never responded to my emails about filing a dispute with my CC company...so that's what I did. I provided all the documentation. My bank issued me a pending investigation credit, but I haven't received anything from them saying the credit is permanent. So, it's still possible I could get screwed out of $200+ . Anytime I see or hear anyone talking about bogger on social media, I throw out a warning. IMO Marcus is a thief and a fraud.

Crap...
Wish I saw this thread a week ago.

I'm in the same boat... Just two days ago I placed an order for a custom DNA30 mod. And now I'm reading all of this. It's really disheartening to come across companies like this one. $200+ dollars is not something I can take and just throw away. Only time will tell what I end up doing, but from everything I have read it looks like I will be placing a dispute with my CC company...

My nightmare with this whole process finally ended about two weeks ago when PNC finally issued me a permanent credit. Does anyone know exactly how financial institutions conduct "investigations" when someone files a dispute against a company? Do they attempt to contact the company by phone? Mail? Just curious if anyone knew how it worked...

Man I hate hearing this. I had bought an item in the classies about a month ago and the individual told me his experience with Bogger. I live about 1/2 mile from his address stated on his site. I have gone by his place of business several times which is just a residential home. Not to bad of a neighbor hood but not the best either. Clovis is really a pretty small town. If anyone knows if there is anything I could do to help being that I'm local to help in this situation, I would be willing to help in anyway I could. I have lived here all my 61yrs. so I know many folks some influential and some not. So if someone know of some way ( abiding by the law of course ) that I may help let me know.
