Do my farts smell worse or is it cos i can smell them now?

lol. The next question: Does the smell change depending on the e-juice flavor? I can see it now... a whole line of "make your farts smell better e-juice". lol. Maybe that's what that "hypnotic mist" is all about. IDK, I never tried it. lol.

Nah, they have that e-juice that does not have any smell somewhere. That will do it. The "my farts don't stink" e-juice.

My absolute biggest pet peeve is any thread (and I've started some) where volts, ohms, watts, or resistance are mentioned. I know it's necessary right now, but it's really bad for the industry. Some plain-language standardization would be a godsend.
?? Those units have been around for a LONG time. Hard to be more standard.
PVs are electronic devices and I think we're "stuck" with using electronic terminology.

GOOD LORD. These points completely captivate it all. Can I "favorite" a single post on ECF????

The "shipping box 'o' vaping crap" really hit home for me. You have totally gotten inside my head!!!

"+1" is okay with me...it means you have my vote!! Plus eleventy!!! (ya whutever)

BTW I didn't realize that vaping was correlated with insomnia. I guess that explains why I haven't been sleeping too well since I totally kicked the cigs. I'll ride it out....though I have to admit I'm used to sleeping like a friggin' rock.

Thanks for clearing up the +1 thing :)

Yes, major insomnia from vaping. I recently dropped nic levels down to 12mg starting at 9:30pm and can now sleep again! Give it a shot, go half or less nic a couple hours before bed time. Good luck!

Love this thread! Lol!

I think they meant standardization of the devices we use as in connections, batteries etc...
The average person does not concern themselves with resistance or watts with their electronic devices. Just where to plug it in.
I can relate. I just picked up some batteries I read would give me a good hv experience. Now all I can find is that they are not recommended for my mod....
Oth, I love the thought of diy.

People who want to know if they can add vitamins, caffeine or other things to their juice. This question gets asked quite frequently and the answer is always the same...NO!

I also have a bit of a peeve with users who will start a new thread to ask something they've already asked, but didn't get the answer they wanted. No, you shouldn't be using LR atty's with your 6V device...no, you shouldn't be using carts with your LR atty...no, changing from a 510 LR to an 801 LR isn't going to make a bit of difference on your 6V device. I don't care if your mum is loaded, that doesn't change the laws of Ohm and Joule's.

Remember, these are personal Pet Peeves. By definition, these are "triggers" or things that bother us a little bit more than they probably should. So... it bothers ropetrick more than most. OK. We all have Pet Peeves. I do understand your point, however.

I love the thread where someone asked that, then another poster found the "Caffeine Inhaler" from ThinkGeek and thought it was real. I have to admit, I said nothing even though I knew better because it turned into a priceless LMAO moment when one of them actually tried to order it.

My name might be WoH...but sometimes I can be a bit "heartless."

this just happened to me......
1. taking a very cherised mod that got you started into 5v vaping and using it to reform a smoker.
2. hooking said smoker up with juice and supplies and showing and emailing him everything he needs to know and buy to continue on his journey
3. bringing charger to charger extra sett of batts. and being asked by said smoker to put his in becuase their dead(i told you where to buy a effin charger)
4. said smoker not vaping all the juice in atty and then putting more of your hard earned juice in to flood it and giving a confused look when you say you still got juice in their.
5. smoker coming back after a week adn saying the boxmod is broken(how you broke it is a mystery to me as it worked fine for 3 months) claiming it just stopped working
6. giving smoker the other and last box mod with another set of batts so you end up with one set of 18350s and one mod trying to make it work.(
7. the word toot.
8. when doing a video review and people interrupt, make loud ... noises, or generally really ignorant and look at you like your crazy talking into a webcam
9. not being able to find the right word during said review to descripe the action of sucking the vapor out of a atomizer. ive come to rest on pull (sorry if that offends)
10. companys who you havent ordered from and reviece juice only to find it stains the bottle?
11. when asking said owner about a mryiad of weird things about his juice. I.E. runs like water at 50/50 blend, stains bottle, off smell. not getting direct anserews.

that being said id vape you ejuice if you would just tell me why it stains the bottle.... and why it runs like water. if it says 50 50. and you tell me that. 1 the flavor is all pg then mixed with such and such and such till it gets to a finised product. guess what? then its not overall 50 50.
now that being said. i gotta give a huge shout out to member scottitude for sending me his extra 18350s free of charger so i can vape with ease.

Great responses. I personally agree with many of these and empathize with those that are annoyed by the ones I disagree with.

The attempted word "vap" annoys me too. I'd accept vap' wherein the apostrophe connotes an abbreviated word but "vape" has an "e", dammit.

Also, any cigarette or smoking term/reference should be eliminated from our vocacbulary when discussing PVs. No matter how annoying others may find the phrase "personal vaporizer" it's an accurate generic term for the devices we all use. Way more acccurate than an "e-cigarette" or "e-smoke".

So here's one I didn't see mentioned, even though someone did point out the extra "T" in the abbreviated "atty".

Maybe it's only me but it's irksome when people refer to the plural of "atty" by adding an "s". As previously pointed out, "atty" has an extra "t" but givent that, more than one atty would be "atties", not "attys". Until we start stacking batterys instead of batteries, more than one atty should end in "ies", not "y".

ETA:
Based on your above comment Tim, clearly you EARNED the batts! :thumb:

Oh god, THIS. Maybe it's the bars I hang out in (usually hipster places with open-mic nights and the like), but just about every time I go, someone asks me if you can put another particular drug of the less-legal sort in it. It was funny the first time, and kinda made me curious, but I didn't give it any more thought than that. The second time it was a little annoying. But on Tuesday, when someone asked me, and I said "no" but handed them a v4l card with a handwritten URL for ECF, and they said, "Take this back, I'm not going to look into it," it REALLY ticked me off. UGHHHH.

"Vap" rhymes with "fap". Enough said before I get into trouble!

I'm guilty of your last peeve, and I've often wondered what the proper spelling of that particular "word" should be. What you said makes sense and I consider myself corrected. It's "atties", not "attys." Thanks, Scott!

That's another frequently asked question here and it drives me to distraction. I want to smack the crap out of the poster who asked. We get enough flack from the FDA and the public in general and the LAST thing we need is to be associated with "that."

I couldn't agree more. And for the life of me, I can't understand why some people still don't know how to properly use the words "there, their, and they're." I cringe every time I see it used incorrectly.

Do my farts smell worse or is it cos i can smell them now?

A old lady goes to the doctor-Doc I've had really bad gas for the last couple of months,my farts don't smell or make any noise tho,so i wondered if you could help me?
The Doc. says-take these and come back in 2 weeks(hands the old lady a prescription)
2 weeks later the old lady goes back to the doc.-I don't know what those pills were, but my farts smell so bad now,my dog runs away!
The doc says-Now that we have that sinus infection cleared up,we'll work on your hearing!
