Just get the o ring inside the confines of the cap...it need not be perfect.

Slowly attach the bottle and begin to tighten it...the boring should get pushed into its final resting place by the leading edge of the bottle. My o rings are old and I'm too cheap (or lazy) to replace them, so I find myself popping the boring out and reseating it...when it gets pushed up into the nose of the bottle cap all the time.

It works for me...hopefully will work for you too!

Thanks
Geo

I think my main problem is that I can't get the damn thing to sit in there at all, it ends up smashed on one side and when I go to fix it, the other side pops out, lol.

I have yet to ever get an o-ring back in this cap and I am now very paranoid when I need to swap bottles again :(. I only have 1 cap with an o-ring already inside it left!

Tmel... where in AZ are ya? I'm in Ahwatukee/south Phoenix.

If you're nearby we can meet up somewhere and I can help you out...or try anyhow.

Let me know
Geo

That'd be great, I'm in Tempe.....but I am moving to CO in 2 days, lol.

You can always grab a couple spares I have boxes of them . I think your o ring is swelled up . I use the bottle itself to guide the o ring in place just like eagle does

I bet thats what happened...I've been vaping Pluid in my Reo and i bet it did swell up or something, never had this issue with unflavored.

I'll pick up some more spare parts when I get settled after moving. :)

Yeah, I don't think I will be using it in my Reo any longer....unless I try out the bottle cap mod I suppose.

Once this bottle is empty of it, I'll go back to Unflavored in my Reo.....I wonder if I'll ever taste the purity of unflavored again now that Pluid's been in my Reo.

Should I just toss the tube/bottle setup and start fresh? lol.

It might take awhile if you just refill the bottle with unflavored. Some have said some of the taste of it remains even after flushing the tube and the bottle.

It might be a good idea to pull off the tube and bottle and save it just for pluid. The bottle cap mod for that set-up would be good.

The first, and last, time I tried Pluid, it took forever to get the residual odor/taste out of a DID, I changed all the o rings and soaked it in alcohol and distilled water. It still took awhile to get rid of all the odor.

I would guess the bottle and tube will always smell of Pluid to some degree.

I did the bottle mod on one of my Reos. Love it. I have two whole Reos and a forest of bottles of juice. Out of the whole forest a whopping ONE bottle has the correct size snap on cap to do the mod. AND guess what , it was some small random sample I got at vapefest last October. I have had a BOLO on one of those tops for about 2 months. Your bottle mod has turned into moby .... for me :)

Edit: sorry. Insert name of big white whale on edit.
