We're talking about the new softer, Italian bottles, right? The best reason to update the bottles is that these new ones are much softer and easier to squonk. There's no reason to update the old 510 unless you just want to...

No need to glue. In fact, I've gotten into the habit of pulling the whole bottle/tube assembly off for refilling - makes for easier work to take the top off and refill.
The tubing is also softer and stretches more easily to fit the feed nipple.
Hey @TheKiwi, I haven't went anywhere... I am here on a daily basis. I've seen you out and about in other threads on the forum. I pretty much stick to the REO forums anymore. Too many sensitive people in other parts of the forum in the past few months, so I just don't post out there much anymore. It's not popular to have an original opinion nowadays it would seem. I'll just leave it at that...
Oh, got my bottles from Rob and they are nice and easy to squonk. Still have a bunch of the old bottles for backup, but really can't see going back except for emergency use.
I set up Reo #1 and it worked flawlessly. Reo #2 leaked a bit from the cap but I was able to tighten it sufficiently to stop the leak.
Just wish extra bottles were available. The machined cap seems to be the largest part of the cost, while the bottles seem to be the weakest link as far as durability. It would be nice to be able to just buy the bottles, as the the cap appears bomb-proof.

Great.. have 7 coming for 5 of my woodvils and 2 for metal.
I assume if it's loose on the woodvils it will be the same on the p67.
Put an approriately sized O-ring around the bottom of the bottle, where it won't show?

Rudy (or anyone), have you had any problems with juice leaking at the tube metal-cap? All my juice is at least 70 VG, it's not thin by any means.
Mine leak, thought I was squonking to hard. Upon removing the entire top off a GDNA and pressing ever so slightly, juice leaks around the tubing exiting the metal cap. Was thinking about applying silicone around the tube-cap, allow it to dry, try that. Or buy the next size larger tubing and see if that seals.
I'm using the tubing which came with the bottles, whatever size that is.
