Rudy (or anyone), have you had any problems with juice leaking at the tube metal-cap? All my juice is at least 70 VG, it's not thin by any means.

Mine leak, thought I was squonking to hard. Upon removing the entire top off a GDNA and pressing ever so slightly, juice leaks around the tubing exiting the metal cap. Was thinking about applying silicone around the tube-cap, allow it to dry, try that. Or buy the next size larger tubing and see if that seals.

I'm using the tubing which came with the bottles, whatever size that is.
Are perhaps over-filling your bottles? Or not keeping your mod upright? If you leave a bit of headspace and your mod remains vertical, there should be nothing to leak out at that point, even if the seal between the tube and the cap isn't 100% perfect.

Rossum, I've tried various methods to help stop the leakage, the only thing I can think of is wider tubing.

I'm using the bottles in the GDNA's, therefore they always stand upright.

If you fill the bottle half full, then while squeezing the liquid doesn't reach the top cap, but that defeats the purpose of the bottle capacity.

I think thicker tubing should solve the leaks.

Here's where I got some. It's ID*OD 2mm*4mm

Maybe just a new piece of the same size might help. If you want me to snip off a few inches and stick 'em in an envelope, PM me. :)

Jan...thanks...but mine have leaked since I started using the bottles. I believe that is the tubing size I have now if I'm not mistaken. I had been placing a piece of paper towel around the top of the bottles to sop up the juice. I want to make a permanent repair.

If the next size tubing is a little too large, I could drill the metal caps out ever so slightly to make a real tight fit. The tubing I have now slides real easily in the metal caps, so naturally it leaks.

That's odd. All of the tubes with mine are very snug and really have to be pulled quite hard to move in the cap.

My tubing is tight in the cap, but I get a LITTLE leakage - and I'm pretty certain it's not at the tube/cap but at the cap/thread intersection. When refilling, I can see that the threads are wet - and the squonk pressure is enough that I get a little "seep" - I can see juice at the edge of the cap.

First thing is, when filling, I need to wipe the collar, which wasn't necessary with the old bottles.
Second thing is that despite being careful, I can tell from an extra-squishy squonk that sometimes I need to re-seat the threads.

I will try filling a little LESS, so perhaps juice won't reach the top even on early squonks to see if that helps.

I wish a future run had more thread - there's vertical room for a slightly taller bottle...

That has got to be the coolest term I've heard :D
