I'm a total newb at DIY, but I'm ready to dive in! I've bought a bunch of supplies (based on the help of everyone here - thank you!), but I didn't think about what to use when I'm testing recipes before I decide whether or not to make larger quantities. Do y'all use 2ml, 5ml, or just a small beaker? I'm wanting to try about 5 recipes (have read the 100 drop test), but I assume I may need to steep some of them before I make my final decisions on flavors (got ultrasonic to speed that process). If you use bottles, do you recommend caps or bottles with droppers? Any other advice?

Thank you!!!

I use old 15ml bottles that have droppers in them. they are leftovers from a local vendor that supplies their ejuice in that type of bottles. I use the droppers to drip on my Magma for tasting to see if the juice is ready. If the juice is ready, I use the 30 and 60 ml bottles I have leftover from them to mix a full batch.

I usually made 10 ml samples as then I could test right away, 1 week later,2 weeks, ect. ect.......The bottles I would use would be with a drip cap on them as it is easier to fill your tank or drip on your RDA which ever you may use. Although having a few caps to help when shaking or ultrasonic in your case wouldn't be a bad idea. After getting the hang of DIY I am more confident when mixing as I now use 30 ml glass as it is better to use glass flavoring wise. No plastic to leech in your mixture.

I use the 100 drop sample method too, the ~4ml of juice it produces is just right for testing new recipes. I saved all the 8ml and 10ml glass flavor vials obtained from vendors (WL and RTS), and use those for testing new mixes. Wizard Labs sells glass droppers that fit the vials making them even more convenient for testing new mixes. Glass Dropper Caps for 8ml flavoring vials - 5 Pack

I normally try and use the 10 mill bottles, its a good size to do samples in. Cause if its good you have 10 mill to drip for the day and if its not you can pour it out without having to waste horribly to much liquid. But also i just ordered 100 6ml bottles to do samples in. That is a great size if you decide you want to make samples or testers for yourself or friends.
