I do not disagree..its just getting the screw that is the hard part. I personally have all but the screws

You can get these: 18-8 Stainless Steel Machine Screw, Plain Finish, Vented, Pan Head, Phillips Drive, 3/4" Length, #6-32 Threads (Pack of 10): Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific
You will have to grind down the diameter and thickness of the head. Then you are set. that's what was used before they got the custom screws.
The hole is a little narrower than optimal but apparently works. I believe Rossum is still using one with that screw. He says it fills and drains fine.

I have to say I'm very pleased with the FDV Classic 510 modded gdeal style using a vented screw. If you tap the Delrin insulator, you get a full adjustability. Equally or more important in a regulated mod, I've had zero issues with leaks. Turning down the head of the screw is somewhat tedious if you do it with nothing more than the screw chucked in a drill and a sheet of sand paper, but it does work. I did my first one that way and it's still in service. To speed things up, use a bench grinder instead of sandpaper. If you're contemplating building an entire mod from scratch (rather than just assembling a kit), modding the head of the already vented screw should be no big deal at all. If you're looking at building a kit such as gdeal's PeKo or DNA, stalk the coops. I suspect there will be one for some ready-to-use screws and FDV Classic 510 inserts real soon.
