Bought VG still missing some ingredient

You are right Concat. I ordered a bunch of liquid from China one of them is 30ml, 99.9% Nicotine level. It's lethal, but somewhat excited when I ordering it. Unfortunately Canadian Customs ceased my shipment last month. I contact the office but the shipment still under "investigation", which has to wait for another 30 days before it is confirm how to handle my package.

In Canada and U.S. I don't think they carry any nicotine over 60mg nicotine level.

You can get 100mg, but even that is very high. I think it's pretty absurd to even order 99.9% nicotine (which is essentialy 1000mg/mL)... especially when you are new to DIY. One single drop would contain like 50 mg, which is about the lethal dose. It should be noted that nicotine absorbs very quickly into the skin. You spill that bottle on yourself... and it's not "oops," it's "tell my mother I love her and delete my internet browser history."

Just be safe and and don't think so much with your wallet.

When I DIY I have all the safety equipment on and have no distractions. Everything is written down and tripled checked- no TV, music or anyone around...completely focused. And that was after about 250 solid hours of DIY research. I also test my nic juices.

ya you can get 100mg in usa at least. I get 60ml of 100mg unless they on sale then I get 125ml from mfs. 60ml lasts me a couple months. I don't really like buying more than 60ml cuz after a couple months they smell weird and color changes so I keep it small and only make 30ml batches that lasts me about 7-8 days. Just be careful and keep it out of reach of kids or animals.

After checking your profile, I can see you are brand new here. PLEASE do a ton of research and get as much advice as you can from the people in the DIY section.

I know even the vendors that make their own juice here in Canada won't touch that stuff.
If you want to dabble in flavours, get unflavoured e-juice in the strength that you vape and play around with safe flavourings.
Who knows, you may come up with the magic 'real' tobacco vape

You'll be just fine. I use the 100 mg all the time. Your first few tries just measure correctly and wear gloves if you like.

As far as 99.9 % it should be the same stuff, you are reading something translated to English, if it is what greenhouseone used to sell. You'll be alright.

If you want, post a link of what you purchased for nic liquid so we can tell you what you are looking at.

I agree 100%. After seeing all these different posts throughout the forum by vapers that want to instantly get into DIY without proper DD scares the H%$& outta me. I don't know what the answer is...maybe regulation by the industry, such as we have happening here in Canada, is a model to be followed by vendors in the U.S. and elsewhere. Sure I wouldn't be able to get my high Nic juice but I'd be willing to trade that off for safety for all.

Don't play around with 99.9% nicotine if your not ready for it, I wouldn't handle 99.9% nicotine without all the proper safety equipment and a fume hood. And even then it would be only to dilute it down to something i would feel confortable to work with like 100mg

You are right!!! I am not worry much about the nicotine now. Regardless if I had it or not. I definitely will take my time learning it right now. If the calculator that I am using to calculate the ratio is right. Actually the nicotine usage compare to 60mg and 100mg Nicotine base level is not much different.

100mg base nicotine, target level 18mg, lets say create 1.0ml ejuice, 2% flavor and water. It requires 4 drops of 100mg Nicotine, 14 drops of PG or VG or PG400 or 50/50 or 20/80 mixed and 2 drops of flavor+water.

60mg base nicotine, target level 18mg, create 1.0ml ejuice, 2% flavor and water. It requires 6 drops of Nicotine, 12 drops of PG or VG or PG400 or 50/50 or 20/80 mixed and 2 drops of flavor+water.

I dont really use a calculator but 4 drops, 14 drops and 2 drops is 20 drops total, 4 of these drops are 100mg nicotine

4/20= 1/5
1/5 of 100mg concentration = 20mg, your close enough I guess, I also don't use drops for measurements when i want to be exact since its precises enough for me.

6, 12, 2= 20 drops
6/20= 3/10

I made like 5 phone calls to health specialist and pharmacy. They have no clue what the heck is PG.

They may not know what 'PG' is but they should definitely know what propylene glycol is (the proper name).

PS-If you have access to (membership) Costco, try their pharmacy! I know it's available here through them.

You said the pharmacist didn't know what PG was... did you ask for PG or propylene glycol? I think only vapers refer to it as PG!

I ask for Propylene Glycol. Big Chain store pharmacist knows what it is, but wouldn't let me buy it. Other smaller self own pharmacy, they have no clue what it is....

I just bought a Lorann Amaretto flavor oil, 3.7ml, Loretta Pure Almond Extract and Pure mint and peppermint extract 100ml for both. Can't wait to try it out. Even though it will be zero nicotine and maybe no TH. But I think its a good start.

I'd not use the oil based flavouring. It will clog your atty, and might be a health concern. Try to only use flavourings with a PG base.
