More watt is more power. Not everyone needs it though, it depends on your personal preference and what coils you use.

A vertical build I assume where the coil and wick are situated vertically

A vertical coil is one where the air passes through the center of the coil when one draws on it. A horizontal coil has the air pulled from around it on the draw.
An RBA/RDA/RTA are all "REBUILDALE" types of devices.
Not recommended for newbs.
But something great to play with once your already set-up and not smoking. They require a lot of knowledge and finesse to do properly and safely.
