The T-max looks to be an improvement in all the previous VV box mods to date, if it lives up to expectations. Metal box mod, with variable voltage AND variable wattage. Uses an 18650 battery which should last most folks an entire day. Looks like it will use a single button for firing and mode selection like a Provari. Not sure if it has ohm meter or voltage meter. Not heard a definite price range for this, either.

Yeah, I saw that, but that doesn't indicate what the cost for a single unit will be once the vendors get them. I'd guess in the $80 price range initially, but maybe a little more. Expected durability of a metal-bodied box mod with the inner electronics of a Zmax should be a selling point .

Did you get your new one yet?

I received one a week ago and it rocks. 2 1/2 days on a charge although I charge it every day to extend the batteries.
No rattle, feels solid. Super Easy to operate. Can charge on the run, uses a regular Micro USB charging cable so you can charge it from a cel phone charger.
Newest version takes all Ego including Evod and Kanger t3 [True Ego Threading] takes all 510 and even has a ring to make vaping a tank look more elegant.

This is a great device for someone who just wants to vape, no battery or charger decisions. Plug it in. Press fire button 3 times to turn on and off. At bottom a + - button to raise and lower voltage. No Menus.

Also the filtering on the PWM is rock solid providing a very good vape.

Does that come with a soldering iron so you can change the battery when it goes bad,or do you just throw the unit away?

Disposable man. So in a year or two I dispose of it. At $65.00 no big deal. I'll pay a little extra for convenience.

Of course I could be an optimist, I have a Apple Ipod Nano Version 2 that is around 6 years old and still holds a charge.

I received mine this past Saturday, I bought it as a back-up to my Detonator Box Mod (x2 14500 Batteries) which I love.
Everything tomzgreat said is true, I loved the fit & finish combined with the ease of use. The 5V limit doesn't bother me, I mainly use LR Clearos & Dual Coils in the 1.8-2.5 range and don't push more than ~4.7-4.8V.

$65.00 is a good deal & you get two Dual Coil Clearos, I've seen them as high as $75.00 and IMO it's worth it. I just wish they had some 2.5 or 3 ohm heads for the Clearos.

+1 on the itaste MVP.

But waiting on the Tmax to come out and see all the reviews for that one. I'll probably pick one up too.

I pre-ordered the Tmax. Still waiting...but that doesn't surprise me. I contacted the vendor and they said that due to the revisions to the design (to take 18650 batteries) there was a delay. They'll email when the order does go out. Hopefully soon, but I'm no hurry. I'd rather Sigelei get it right rather than rush. But I admit...I am really looking forward to getting my Tmax, and anxious to see if it's all I am hoping it will be. I paid just over $50 incl. shipping, for mine.
