The photo makes my point about minding your battery wraps. Here the bottle cap is touching on the left and positively charged, and on the right quite close to the battery casing. Silicone is very soft and the battery can easily shift. If it touches bare battery tube it shorts.

teyres - how easy does it look to heat shrink - tape up that area where the bottle is touching?

Just got mine from 3F. Hands on first impressions.

• Yes, it's painted, over white injection molded plastic. Gonna wear the same as the painted Frankies.
• No, the 510 is not adjustable, and the pin is set a bit too deep, just like the Frankie. Fix will be the same too.
• Yes, the plastic does seem to be ABS, and has the same 'hollow' feel and handling sound as Frankie, maybe a bit more so.
• The door is strictly friction fit. Firm, not creaky, not rattly to begin with. But of course it will loosen with time. Adding magnets to the inside cover looks easy enough, and may help prevent both the cover and battery from shifting around.
• Took one quick look at the bottle and based on experience just put it aside. Swapped in a Supersoft, which fits fine.
• No issues with the contacts. Hits hard enough. Action from the button is pretty firm, throw about 1mm.

I was just thinking the same thing earlier today.As soon as one of mine gets here,I'll see if it's possible,as my local vape shop is stocking 20700's now.Might even be possible to get a 21700 in there......

Sorry to say, not with this one, unless you hog out the plastic. If you want to fit a 20700 though, check out the Yiloong Gorilla. Flatten the contacts, switch to a 17-18mm bottle, and you're in.

Well I Finally Got Mine. Yes stock bottle is crap but got some yftk bottles from ft with it. Much better squonk on those bottles than stock.
Ordered the black but would say it's more gray, compared to the pulse on it.
Overall pretty good vape, the finish is a bit rougher than I expected but with what the cost is I can't expect perfection.

My Frankenskull clone came the same as your mod,i ordered black,and it was that same kinda grey color,you would think they would know what black looks like haha.

I have to give Ft props.I ordered the blue one this morning before i left for work,it said ships next day.When i got home this afternoon,it is already marked as ready to ship.Only problem is,there is some other stuff in the order too,and the whole order will get held up over some drip tips that say eta of 6 days haha,i hate waiting,but the drip tips are my favorite type so i add some to every order.Now the wait begins.
