IMHO, I don't think this would work too well although, I can't say that I've tried it in a rda. SS rope really doesn't wick very good vertically in my experience however it does provide a good conduit for juice flow if the device (RBA) is tilted enough to initiate the action. In a RDA I don't think you would have enough fluid present for this to be viable, especially since you couldn't allow the wick to touch the base like you could with one made of non-conductive material. You would seemingly be limited to only that amount of juice that is directly deposited on the coil/wick.

Better to use Organic or unbleached cotton, Silica or a SS mesh or a hybrid of mesh and cotton/silica. Rope is for vertical wicks from what I gather. Not drippers. I have not used it but know others that do. They use them in top feed wick systems like the AGA's. I have a IGO-L, W and a trident. For me ekowool silica wick is the easiest and most consistent. IME. But like a lot of things what ever floats your boat.
