Hey, I just got my new GGTS and I must say it looks amazing. However, I cannot get anything to screw into where the atty/carto would go. Not even the supplied rethreader. Upon close inspection, the threads seem to have a bit of excess metal in the way. I took some pictures as best I could and have them posted below. Is this the problem or am I overlooking something? Shouldn't a 510 carto screw right in? Also, do I take this matter up with Imeo or with Bruce at COV? Thanks for the help!

i had exactly the same problem, but after force threading a couple of old cartos i had laying around, the begining of the problematic thread gave up and now i'm able to fit a 510 connection to it. I though about returning it back to Vasilis but now it does thread so...

more specifically, the air hole that was machined off the top part melted and blocked the begining of the thread, just like your second picture.

the rest of it was just fine.

Dont worry guys I can seriously vouch for Bruce and Justin. He will take care of it with no problems. They are swamp shipping out all these fabulous GG devices to everyone that pre ordered. I personally spoke with Justin a couple days ago and him and Bruce are so swamped that I thought they were replaced by bionic human beings. As busy as they are they took time out to help me with my questions. Believe me buds they are so busy yet they are great fantastic people. They will take care of you.

Just send Justin or Bruce a PM in ecf as well as opening a ticket is good enough. If they don't respond in 2 days send them a friendly reminder through pm. Justin is the one that handles customer service and packaging and sending out orders so he has his hands filled. Please be patient they thrive in making us happy. You better believe down the road if something goes wrong in device they will respond and make your needs a priority.

I wanted to give everyone an update on this. Bruce is taking care of it as promised. The COV guys are great and I highly recommend them to anyone here and those who ask me about my e-cig when they see me using it around town. Once I receive the replacement I will post another update.

On a personal note: I wanted to give Bruce a big THANK YOU for taking the time to respond to me during what I imagine is a huge increase in his work load presently. And another big THANK YOU to Imeo for not only making such wonderful products but for taking the time to speak with his customers on this forum. Two Classy guys that know how to attract customers and then keep them by providing both an excellent product and then standing behind it. Also thanks to the community here on ECF for always being helpful and promoting the vapeing lifestyle. You guys all rock!

I had a similar issue. I threaded an old extender through it a few times and it seemed to clear up. I had a few tense moments though for sure - I just wanted to start vaping!

I got past that hurdle and the device is working great. It's a real beaut!

Thanks Bruce and Imeo. I can't believe how fast my new gear got to me.

I will take care of you!

And indeed you did Bruce! I received the new part in the mail today, and it works perfectly! Thank you so much. I will ship the old one back to you tomorrow.

Since I knew that I would be receiving a replacement, I gave this a shot with an old carto, and it seemed to work ok, the screw in was still kinda finicky and I was afraid to put anything of value on it because I didn't want to ruin the threads on it. The new one works like a dream.

Great service Bruce!!!

Indeed! Thanks again guys!
