I personally love puresmoker. They are friendly folks and will gladly answer any questions you have. here is a link to some cartomizers that will fit your eGo. (all of the BUDPro accessories will fit your eGo) BUDecig Empty Cartomizer And there is a video on that page showing how to fill your cartomizers.

Note that the picture shows a five pack of cartomizers but they are actually sold individually.

again I have to ask...am I at ANY risk for anything (other than bad taste) when the liquid comes through the mouth piece into my mouth from the eGo-T tank? Is this normal? how do I avoid this? I only received 2 tanks...and I've only used one so far. There seems to be liquid inside the last chamber before the vapor comes out..and I'm assuming there's not supposed to be any liquid in there?

I don't know about the tank. never used them because I always heard they leaked. In my experience getting any in your mouth is a sign something isn't right. Small amounts aren't really dangerous (as far as I know), but you don't want to drink it or anything since nicotine is toxic.

Condom filling refers to using the "condom" that the cartomizers are packaged in to fill them. The video on the page that I posted shows how its done. It's the way most people fill there cartomizers.

Atomizers give you more vapor and is generally more flavorful. But yo have to add liquid after every couple of puffs.
Cartomizers hold more liquid since they have the white filling in them. Only have to top them off a couple of times a day, depending on how much you vape.

marc85....i sorta understand what you're saying. I think I need to try to post some pictures of what I'm talking about here.

I'm only calling these cartidges "disposable atomizer" as that is what it says on the box. When I put out the mouth piece stopper...there is filling inside. so does that mean it's a cartomizer and not an atomizer?

where do i get caps? do you mean silicone caps for the thing I put the liquid in?

also, how do i put a banner in my signiture?

Take the old caps off & refill with new liquid then pop the silicone ones on (punch out a center hole first)

Short answer is no. Propeline Glycol (spelling), vegetable glycerine, water, and niccotine are all that is in any quality e-juice. All are safe, certainly safer than analog tobacco products of any kind.

You have cartomizers, the white filling is what holds the liquid. If you use atomizers you either have to drip (which is a pain in the ..., I don't care what anyone says) or use carts, which suck.

Look into the Vivi Nova tanks. They hold almost 3ml of liquid, have replaceable atomizer heads and rarely leak. You will need to get an Ego to 510 adapter to use one though. The VN is kind of big and will look funny on an Ego, but I saw on here that they just came out with a Vivi Nova Mini which would look better.

Buy backups and have backups for those backups. The last thing you want to do is run out of cartos (cartomizers), liquid, batteries or have a device die on you. I try to keep 30+ cartos on hand at all times and at least 100ml of liquid.

A syringe is easier, quicker and not as messy IMO. I've tried the condom method many times and always go back to a syringe.

Might give this tank a try. On average, how long do the coils last?

15-60 days for the Joy-e stuff is what the manufacturer quotes.

It really depends on the juice you vape and how much you vape that's why it's so open ended. Consider it to be like a light bulb. Some last a year, some last a few months from the same box. It's a bit random.

Hi Prometheus,

First of all, welcome to the boards and congrat on deciding to quit smoking. The vaping experience can be a little ovewhelming in the beginning because there are a ton of options available and alot of vaping lingo but you're in the best place to help you learn the ropes.

Yes, the 'disposable atomizer' you are referring to is a cartomizer. It has a cottony like filling inside and is designed to allow you to fill with liquid - some cartomizers come pre-filled with liquid while others are blank and you fill them yourself. You should also be able to refill them by just dripping a few drops into the cotton filling once they start to run dry. I don't personally use cartomizers but I have tried them and I would just drip 3-4 drops into the cartomize a couple of times a day to keep in moistened.

A clearomizer is similar to a cartomizer in that you can fill it with liqud and it will last you the better part of a day (or more). The clearomizer will not have the cotton type filling but will have a wick that absorbs the liquid. These can also be refilled. Many of these will have a clear casing as opposed to the black casing on the cartomizers. I personally prefer the clearomizers as I get much more flavor out of them but many people do prefer the cartomizers. You should give both a shot and see what works best for you.

It's not going to hurt you to get a little juice in your mouth (other than tasting awful) - this has happened to all of us. This most often happens to me when I overfill a carto/clearo or an atomizer if I'm dripping. If you overfill a carto/clearo the liquid will often leak from the bottom (the portion that is screwing onto your battery) and you may get a gurgling type sound when you vape. You can unscrew the carto and use a Q-Tip or small piece of tissue to absorb the extra liquid that may have dripped into the battery piece.

Feel free to ask more questions as needed. I'm still a relative newbie myself (59 days now) but you can learn an awful lot by reading the posts and watching youtube videos to help you through the information overload.

NO.

Nothings going to happen if you get a little E Liquid in your mouth. And NO it's not supposed to happen, and that's one reason most folks think the Ego T system BLOWS.

Now listen cuz I am a newer E Cig smoker like you BUT I have managed to kick a 35 year heavy smoking habit using this stuff and I only started on April 22nd of this year.

Here is my best advice to you concerning this Ego T.

FORGET ABOUT using the T part of it and just pretend your brother sent you a couple brand new high quality batteries and a charger instead. Cuz that's really what you have that's worth while.

You can mess around with your atomizer and perhaps do a little direct dripping if you want but REALLY you outta just order some Boge cartomizers, some drip tips, and a couple sample packs of juice and start off that way. Order a Vivi Nova too if you want to try something that's pretty "fancy" but also won't leak.

If this sounds good to you let us know and we can guild you to purchasing this BASIC equipment that will NOT leak or end up in your mouth and also won't cost you an arm and a leg.

You have some brand new batteries AND you want to quit smoking. Your a lot closer to quitting than you probably think right now.

Prometheus -

There are many, many different pieces of vaping equipment out there, to say the very least.

None are perfect. Many are very, very good, and many have very ardent supporters.

I've been at this for a while; not as long as many others, but about a year or so.

I've bought and used many, many different kinds of gear. Joyetech eGo-T, Joyetech eGo-C, kGo, e-Power, Smoktech VMax, Joyetech 18650 mod, Smoktech Woo, drip atomizers, cartomizers, cartomizers in a tank, Phoenix clearomizers, Smoktech EMDCC (Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer), and more.

Right now, there is one particular setup that I consider a slam-dunk no-brainer as a must-have for just about any vaper, regardless of experience level or amount of gear. It just came out within the last two months, and it is the Joyetech eGo-C Twist.

For the first time in an eGo-class battery, you can have variable voltage. That lets you achieve just about any coil temperature that you want on a wide variety of attachments of different resistances (ohms), and a wide variety of juices, each of which will taste better at a specific coil temperature. With constant voltage, the only way to adjust the coil temperature is to use a different resistance, which is a much more hit-or-miss proposition.

I am vaping with one as I type this, while my VMax sits. I was just talking with my friend Dan tonight, who I got off of a 42-year cigarette habit 5 months ago, and he is vaping on a Twist while his ProVari V2 sits.

There are many cool devices out there - the Volt, the Apollo SS VTube, the VMax, the ProVari, the Buzz Pro 2, the Darwin, the e-Power, the Reo's, the Lavatube, and many, many more. None of them is "the only PV you will ever own, need, or want". Neither is the Joyetech eGo-C Twist.

That said, I would like you to order the following items:

Three Joyetech eGo-C 650mah Twists. They come mainly in chrome, black, chrome, and blue. If money is really tight, you can get by with two.

A spare charger in case the one you already have craps out.

At least two Vivi Nova 3.5ml Version 2.5 tank/atomizers. Five would be better.

A lot of juice. Any juice. From anywhere.

You will have a very, very good vape while you figure out the ins and outs of all the gear out there, including the very cool, but slightly quirky Joyetech tank systems that I will always have a very warm place in my heart for, and which I use from time to time.

The Twists are about $22 each, the Vivi Novas are about $14 each, and the charger (2 pcs.) is about $13.

I seriously doubt that you will regret having this equipment in your "arsenal".

Finally, a video review that I take a lot of heat for posting, but I do not care in the slightest. It says it all.

*****

The Twist is insanely easy to use; it has a knob on the bottom that you turn clockwise for more warmth to the coil, counter-clockwise for less. Some people will tell you that you will be confused by it; please do not listen to them. Put a little dab of red paint right in the middle of it at the "4.0" (volt) mark so you can tell at a glance where you are on the 3.2V-4.8V range of settings.

The Vivi Nova is also insanely easy to use; unscrew the top, fill it to the "Full" mark with juice, and vape.

It does not get much simpler than this, and the vape IMO is absolutely world-class.

Hi. Thank you for the help. Please PM me info on what I should get to go along with my eGo-T battery that will help. I smoked around 25-30 cigarettes per day and I really need something with a good hit. The smaller cigarette sized one is ok...but really doesn't give me a goodhit at all. Im' more than happy to buy whatever I need to make this work..but I need to find this IN Canada if possible. Thank you again!

LOL!

I think we all end up telling a new guy like this WAY MORE than he needs to know the 1st time he comes to a forum like this with a couple batteries a leaking Ego T and no instructions.

Sometimes I think it's best folks start off with a Blu system WITH INSTRUCTIONS than have something like an Ego T given to them without guidance, hell half the folks that KNOW how to us this stuff can't get those Ego T's to work correctly.

I am not going to PM you, I will tell you right here.

You need some regular old Boge LR Cartomizers exactly like these- Boge 2.0ohm LR 510 cartomizers 5 pack

And if you want a NICE "tank" that will NOT flood OR leak get one of these too- Vision Nova Tank Clearomizer V2

Those 2 items along with JUICE outta get you off the cigarettes and into vaping with both feet on the ground.

Once you master using that stuff you will have a firm understanding of what this is all about.
