Nineteen states are beginning their legislative sessions soon and many of them have pre-filed bills that will target vaping in some way. Bans, age restriction, licensing issues, zoning issues, packaging standards are not the only issues we will face.
Taxes will be another angle that our legislators will try to get a piece of the vapor pie. We have already authored blogs showing the governments long time addiction to the tax money collected from tobacco sales.
Fighting taxes is a dirty game that we have very little experience with and the science will not win it for us. In this type of fight it is best to seek guidance and assistance from someone who has experience.»
