Hola!

So, somehow I have managed to break my lava tube. The top piece that holds the carto in place has come out and I can't figure out how it goes back in! It doesn't look like it was glued as there is no residue left over and it won't 'click' into place. How does this go back in?!

not too sure ?? but looks like it was just glued in there ??

if still under warranty contact the vendor about it so you don't void the warranty

This will Be my last option! I'm stuck with just a USB pass through at the minute and it's awful! I'm hoping to get my LT up and running without having to wait a week on the vendor!

looks like it is just a press fit ,,grab an old burnt carto and assemble it,then smack the carto with a hammer once and see if that holds it ??

be sure to pull the center pin out of the carto first !! might take a few elephants to get it out

It was a press fit. I've got it back in now... although not totally straight it can be vaped and will do me for the weekend until I get a response from the vendor! Thanks for the help!

Get some super glue and put like 3 dots of if where the metal touches the tube. Then you can still have room to make your ground connection and the glue should hold it at least for a few days. When you screw in a carto or what not. Do it with care as not to break the bond. That might get you by till you can get a new one.

Looks like it was press fitted.. Don't mess with it if it is under warranty. I you us glue you can't put on where the metal is pressed in on the side or you may not get an electrical connection. If it is out of warranty press it in and then put a bead of glue at the top after it is pressed in then you will not break any connection. The outer part is the negative connection an you have to have it to make the heating element work.
Again if it is in warranty don't mess with it send it back or contact them. Use your spare. If you dont' have one get one. I learned that lesson the hard way.
