Hey ECF Members:
The spring on my zen atty u broke this morning, i can feel there is slack at the 510 connection as opposed to the usual springiness...
i think i accidentally twisted it the wrong way to check ohms on a vamo, however, is it possible to over-heat it dry-burning a 0.5 ohm triple twisted 30 awg coil?
anyways, i dry burned with all kinds of coils and it happened after i felt the atty goin in the wrong way on to the vamo...
Someone, please advise as to how to repair the spring, or replace it with a rod...???

im not really sure whats going on:
recap- the 510 connector pin is loose- when i opened the atty innards, there was no spring, i could see straight down, i was not able to push anything out from the bottom...the atty still fires, however the ohms jump showing that there is a loose connection somewhere inside...
someone...when i come home from work in the evening (yeah- work on sunday...sucks....) i hope to have some answers..
also, when i would push from the top down onto the connector it would make contact and pop the connector back out...
am i gonna fry my mech if i run the atty like this? still vapes great but the connector gets really hot...
im wondering if i overheated something?

ok....people....im off to work...hope to have answers when i come home tonight....it kinda boggles me that the atty still fires and there is nothing between the positive post and the bottom pin, the walls are lined with ss, and the top piece screws down, as opposed to the versions i have read about with a press down post...however...because the ohms r jumping and the bottom piece is loose i know something is wrong, i just couldn't get anything to "pop" out of the atty using a small screwdriver or a needle....?????????????????????????
