Buddy's Lambo isn't firing on nautilus.....

He just got his lambo in the mail. First attempt, nautilus didn't fire at all, wouldn't recognize it. He then put on his K1 and it recognized it and fired up. So he puts the nautilus back on, Cleaned off both connectors and then it worked. But when he takes the nautilus off, and back on, it's not firing again until cleaning it off or I guess putting the K1 back on....

Any suggestions?

Is the coil, inside the topper good? Is it making contact?

The K1 has a 1.8 bvc and the nautilus I believe, comes with a 1.6 BDC in it, and 1.8 vertical coil as an extra. So that's why I thought it needed the extra 1.8 coil in the nautilus to fire. It's still sometimes working and not on the 1.6 BDC it came with tho, unless he takes the tank off and cleans off both ends... That's my only theory, if something else i don't know.
